Official 2021 Bowl Games Thread

Just got back from the airport about 15 minutes ago and have already seen 28 points, this game is wild. And now tOSU fumbles into the end zone when they're about to score.

We scored 35 against Northern Colorado and 37 against OSU. But that was in double OT. Utah already has 35 in the first half against Ohio St. and going for more.

This isn’t a game, it is a crappy exhibition. OSU doesn’t give two ****s, they obviously just jacked off the past few weeks and are not interested in playing.

I would believe that if they had not looked terrible on defense a few times before this season.

Rose Bowl is always a great setting and is must-see viewing regardless of who's in it.

I like what Utah has done with incorporating the rose into the logo on their helmet. I know other schools have done this for their first Rose Bowl trip, WSU and TCU come to mind.

Mark Stoops is one helluva coach.
It’s easy when you have absolutely ZERO restrictions placed on you and absolutely ZERO admin oversight of your program. They basically handed him the keys and said do whatever you have to make us a winner.

Recruiting to the SEC in the heart of the South with ZERO academic restrictions. Yeah, tough.
Agree with Duff.

Recruiting against the SEC (and ACC) for the top players. The best players in your state normally leave. Zero football tradition instead known as a basketball school where football has always been an afterthought. Relatively few players in the NFL compared with the schools you are recruiting against.

And those schools you are recruiting against have the same academic restrictions you do.

Winning at Kentucky qualifies you as a great coaching job.

Kentucky also has to compete with Ohio State based on location. And Kentucky is not in the heart of the South

I was really hoping UU would win the Rose Bowl for several reasons. Most prominent of those reasons is that their have been rumors floating around all season about Wittingham retiring if UU makes it to the Rose Bowl. I was hoping for a win and a ride into the sunset.

OSU decided to show up in the second half. The difference in talent level between these two programs is wide. UU is an amazing program that maximizes their talent.
