That's one game that Jimbo seems to get his team up to play for almost every year
Agreed. Money line on A&M is like +1200 or something like that. With the talent they have I’m much more inclined to throw a couple bucks at the upset than to throw a big chunk at the prohibitive favorite who’s at times this year looked pretty darn un-Alabama-like

Through Saturday.
DEN/IND U 39.5 (Full disclosure, I have 3-4 games each week where I wait and watch the first couple of minutes then go heavy on the O/U based on the flow/feel of the game. Been quite successful so far)
Illinois -3
UConn -4
UTSA -6.5
MTSU +9
Nevada -3

LOL! I'm not stupid enough to bet on the Huskers.
I unfortunately think the Corn wins by more than the 3 point favorites that they are but won't put $$ on it. That's just not happening. There are other
games I can bet and not feel like a one toothed whore.

I'll call you on that. Rutgers is winning that game and that has nothing to do with bias.

I hate betting on two crap teams and that's what we have here,
Tonight's csu @ Nevada is two crap teams. I'd take Nevada if I bet but hate the game.

CSU is bad, bad, bad. We'd beat CSU by 3 scores. Let's just say it sounds like one of these teams has a chip on it's collective shoulder tonight and it ain't the team from up north.

A side note: My godson is a regular Frosh at Ft. Collins right now. He played 5A ball (QB) here in state (never started) and camped a couple times up there. They actively sought him out on campus after the MTSU loss and offered him a preferred walk-on starting Jan 1. He's not the only one. Ever see Necessary Roughness? The kids are taking them up on it. No offense to my boy B, but that's where they are as a program right now.

Can I count this as a Sinbad reference? I’ve long felt we need more mentions of Sinbad on this board.

I'm not a gambler. I have never, even once, gambled in a casino (or purchased a lottery ticket).

We had a team building event with my new group tonight where they had a mock casino setup. Everyone got $5000 in fake money chips. They had blackjack, roulette and craps tables setup. We were to gamble all night and then bid on something that ties into a charitable contribution.

I played blackjack all night. I know the rules but not much strategy. i.e. no clear idea when to split, when to double, etc...

I was so into it.

I mean, like, really really into it. Back at the hotel bar after the "casino" closed down, two separate times, colleagues came up to me and remarked "you were really into that Blackjack, dude"

I really shouldn't gamble and it's a good thing I don't. Pretty sure I have the potential to do some real damage to my life if I started.

No sweat:

Win - 2 Team Parlay
  • Over 6.5 (-125)Philadelphia Phillies @ Houston Astros
  • Philadelphia Phillies (+144)Philadelphia Phillies @ Houston Astros

I took the Over and bet B. Russell would score (+575). Also bet S to score (+675)

We need a lot of luck today.

Go Buffs.

My whole family excited that Northwestern is battling with OSU.

Me with GIGANTIC money on the Under due to a pre-game on the field report on the weather:
Johnny Depp Whatever GIF

Had 3 bets in AFA-Army
AFA -7.5 (just missed)
Under 40.5 (easy W)
Army TT under 15 (easy W)

Added Tennessee +9.5 and CU/Oregon over 62.5 (We don't have a chance, but I do think the over hits)

10-4 today betting NFL and Soccer. Missed a handful of soccer unders, but hit on Colts TT under and a parlay with a couple unders (Packers and Colts lol)

Been doing quite well betting CFB and NFL O/U in game after the first quarter. Get a feel for the flow/rhythm and bet accordingly. Playing and coaching for over 35 years has helped with something, I guess.
