Official Allbuffs CFB gambling thread

You could not be more right about this slate of games...in August Finebaum said in 35 years (or whatever) of covering CFB he has never seen a slate as bad as week 3.

UCLA are home, right? I guess the worry is Chipper will get them to have a light bulb go on at some point. Those later games (after 7:30 EST) have no cohesion to them. Just so many commercials.

I think ASU will be in trouble up there. I feel like WSU are going to smoke HOU. That O/U is 75.5.

Am I missing something or is Ohio State -16 again Indiana an easy easy bet? Took that the minute I saw it..

Also put a little on Northern Illinois straight up against the Buff hungover Pornhuskers. Nice +425 payout

Where's that game?

I’ve got a few piddling bets for Saturday. I need one to hammer. Open to suggestions.
NC State -6.5 over West Virginia seems like a steal.

MSU -10.5 at home against ASU.

Virginia -8 against FSU.

OU -17 at UCLA.

Take your pick.

The Oklahoma State:Tulsa 1H total is 34. I have a decent chunk on the over. I also am rolling with over 32.5 in the South Carolina:Alabama 1H.

Other than my opener on the Buffs -1.5, my biggest wager of the week so far is Houston +9.5 against Wazzu.

Okie lite's sugar daddy just died. I have no idea how or if that will have an effect on how the team plays.

If I had to bet, I am sure TBP’s will has a serious endowment for Oklahoma State’s AD.
Rumor is that years ago he prepaid a ginormous life insurance policy with the school and AD as primary beneficiaries.

Also, rumor was that he and Gundy didn't always get along. That will limit any emotional motivation Gundy could try and get out of the team as a result (both in this game and the season) - it could also backfire on him if he tried it.

I didn’t make the bet knowing about TBP’s demise. I made the bet because it’s a good number for me to bet.

My main thought in regards to the point spread was that his passing increases the likelihood of Okie Lite rolling up a big score.

It will either enhance your bet, or (more likely) have zero impact at all.

Their offense is POTENT. If it has any positive impact, that would be quite scary for Tulsa!
