It does soften things a little to look through that lens though.

Listening to the announcers are a complete joke. We aren’t much if any younger than last year. The difference is we had a QB who could read defenses last year and could take shots down field on time vs B Lew not having a chance in hell of completing a 15 yard pass downfield that isn’t because of a scramble first. How the coaches thought this kid was better than Noyer and forced Noyer out of here (if that’s what happened) is beyond me.
Our defense isn’t amazing but nobody can expect them to keep teams below 20 every week with the field position they have to deal with and lack of time to rush and make adjustments.
