Meh. Not to defend this godforsaken state but there is more diversity of political thought than you are giving it credit for. It’s not Wyoming. They split their electoral college votes and have a Unicameral. The property tax rates and size of state government would make even the most big government progressives drool.

I live in Omaha, which has the diversity you speak of...and that slot-machine property tax pool (no real rhyme or reason or consistency in property taxes here, hence the slot machine tag). The large percentage used by me was more humorous than not. We went to my in-laws house for dinner and to join the watch party (I was still head to toe in Buffs gear), and they were actually clueless as to what channel Fox News and Fox Business were...

I understand. My point is that with all of the reasons that there are to hate Fusker fans and ****raska, politics is far down the list. But hey, my comment drew that ****tard Surveyor out from the depths. He must be feeling confident after Frosty’s pedo circus played NIU. I’m going to go take a shower now seeming that he liked one of my posts.

There are some pretty forward-thinking and progressive people here in Nebraska, and they are starting to filter into the political field (finally). I was actually surprised to see that medical cannabis is getting a serious look for the 2020 ballot. Maybe the NSP is starting to lose some serious man hours getting those coming in from CO, and then dealing with the paperwork?
 
Keep in mind by the time the Corn Cult returns to Boulder, they would have gone about 13 years without beating the Buffs. Will we be having straitjackets on standby for that game in 2023?

In all honestly it really did throw me for a loop. I didn't even know that channel existed. Found it easy enough but got a little worried there for a minute. My BIL was in Ames for that game and he was pissed because he had his boys with him and they made the trip at 4AM to tailgate. Talk about a long day.

Indeed, pussies. I woke up at 4am Friday and got off at 4, went to a concert at 7PM Friday, went to bed at 1am, drove to DIA at 4:30am, landed in Chicago at 10am, took the train to Wrigley for a game at 1:20. Stayed there till 5, took the train to the airport, picked up rental car and drove 4 hours to Appleton Wisconsin and went to bed at 11:30. Woke up at 6 to drive to Lambeau to tailgate for Packers/Vikings and got back to my hotel at 6PM and I’m not even complaining lol, that **** was so worth it.
