They got win 5 on the season last week against mighty Purdue. How glorious will it be if they are one win away from a bowl and manage to lose their last four in a row to end up staying home?

Hopefully all close losses like today. Extending the longest P5 bowl-less streak is important, but it would be somewhat empty if they can't also claim an epic moral victory of being the best 5-7 team.
And no matter what they do, they got trucked by CU this year and haven’t beaten CU in something like 3 million days or something.
But that is all Collier's fault. In Collier hadn't been the dirty player who tackled Martinez when he did the entire direction of the program would have been different and they would have never lost to us.
Don't believe it, just ask them.
Being the best X-win team starts losing its luster when you claim that participation trophy every year.
Of course if they don’t make a bowl this year it’ll be “iT’s A rEbUiLeD” or “TrUsT tHe PrOcEsS” I’m sure getting Northern Southwest McAllen Baptist State College for the Deaf, in LeMars, IA on the schedule could help eek out that last win for bowl eligibility.
