Mission accomplished in OOC. Time to heal the bruises and get ready to go **** some **** up in the P12.
Indeed 11-2 lost the 2 games that were considered no hopers but got the needed RPI bumps out of them - we are in good shape now for the Pac-12 schedule.Mission accomplished in OOC. Time to heal the bruises and get ready to go **** some **** up in the P12.
Disappointing that we really could have won either of those losses with a couple of things falling the Buff's way.
^^^^ThisI'm not unhappy, but I still don't trust the committee.
I do. Maybe even more than I hate Miami.Wow. I didn't think anyone really disliked ISU.
Wazzu killed New Mexico
BYU/Northern Iowa going down to the wire
Hopefully P12 will offer this opportunity - seems it would be best to have about half very good teams and half weaker to keep several in the Top 50 RPI. Too many good but equal teams will beat each other down.I can't stress enough how big it would be for the Buffs to add a couple Top 50 wins (including a road win) to its resume. Both BYU and Auburn are risks to fall out of the Top 100, too, which would be a disaster.
As feared, UW **** the bed against UCSB and dropped the home OOC finale.
they better wait a bit to do that.ESPN's bracketology hasn't been update in a while, but CBS has us as an 8 seed! I'm a little surprised Cal is not in the bracket yet, I think they'll play their way in soon.

SMU will likely be favorites in every game for the remainder of the season, a touchdown or more in all but three or four. They have a chance, albeit a small one (like 4-5%) to be 30-0, have the #1 RPI, and not qualify for the tournament.
There are so many reasons that I would love to see this happen.
SMU got the win with a very strong performance.
Wednesday games we care about:
Penn State at #4 Maryland (3:00, ESPN2)... Maryland favored by 16, but I think it will be closer than that
Coppin State at #11 Iowa State (6:00)... cupcake city, as ****ie V says
Just had to jinx it - couldn't wait until the game was over.Penn State was up by 8 at halftime. Holding on to a 4pt lead with 12:25 to play.
