My letter to the CU prez, Fhil DeShitShow and Dick Geroge:
Bottom line, RG and KD need to go NOW. Nothing is going to change as Phil has his head up his **** in woke Boulder. You could have put one of the Fent/Heroin tent people living on the creek as QB and they would have done better than this poor excuse. Move on over to the Big Sky Conference and focus on hoops.
As an alum, I am embarrassed and so glad we gave up our tailgate spot and season tickets, the writing was on the wall. Count me out as ever donating to your sad university.
When a coach doesn’t have a committable plan, when he relies on hope, what are his players supposed to commit to? This quarterback scenario doomed both quarterbacks to failure. Expecting a good week of practice to magically spark performance on Saturdays is a fool’s gambit. The Buffs are young, but that is Dorrell’s own player management issue. Besides, youth can be an excuse for not winning but not an excuse for failing to compete.
After three games, Colorado might legitimately be the worst team in the country. That is not hyperbole. When the highlight of the week is the implosion in Lincoln, and the team in Fort Collins is one of your biggest challengers for the worst-of-the-worst label, things are not trending well. Three games is a pattern and this pattern actually goes all the way back to last season. If we’re not there already, were nearing the point where CU needs an intervention. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
Fire Phil, bring back Gordan Gee, and please dispose of Rick George and his friend that happened to be building a house in Lafayette after Midnight Mel left town, Karl Dorrell.
Sad Alum of the Class of 1993.
