Official Buffs vs. Wazzu Game Thread

I guess. Seems like they're always getting in one more hit when the whistle is blown.

Especially on Sefo.
True but, trying to be objective, getting a little something extra in there at the end of the play is smart. The idea is to frustrate your opponent--especially the QB--and hope it results in mistakes.

This is one of the main reasons I'm frustrated with the Buff's defensive strategy with rushing the passer. Falk has been dissecting the defense, but they continue to rush 3 & 4 guys every down. By rushing 5 or sometimes 6, you're going to start getting to the QB. Maybe he still makes a few completions, but you put him on his back more. If you give him a little extra shove or something like that, it builds his frustration and hopefully results in him making mental mistakes later in the game.

Exactly. So frustrating seeing Falk setting up shop while asking DBs to cover for ten seconds.

falk is great. we are in this game. it is going to be a dogfight, with us down 2 safeties.

I don't think Sefo has had a great game throwing the ball, but it's hard to complain about what he does with his feet. Nice td!
