Official Colorado State Game Thread

CSU is trash.
CSU’s coach is trash.
A number of CSU’s players are trash.
They threw everything they had into winning this game including their schedule.
They had the perfect storm to win this game.

They still lost and got their hearts ripped out.

Sucks to be a CSU lamb.
I was thinking the same thing. We joke about how this is CSU's superbowl.... but this year it truly was. Scheduled a bye before the game to get an extra week of planning (which paid off). Riled up the team with some BS. Played dirty as hell.

And still lost :ROFLMAO:

@hawg1 - Taking the post down doesn't mean that it is not true and that he wasn't involved in sexual assault incidents. As someone connected to Fairview sports I would have expected you to be familiar with multiple incidents regarding this player as well as others in the football program regardless of whether charges were filed.

As a coach (especially if in football under McCartney) I would think you would be aware of the culture that was fostered there which for example allowed hazing of freshman football players at the Nederland pre season football camp. Why weren't you or others protecting these kids? It also led to the principal "retiring" after being suspended for allowing a hostile environment which impacted many young women. It feels like you are focused on protecting the predators instead of protecting and preventing more victims.

I’ll be glad to discuss this on a different thread. I am not trying to suppress any info that is correct. . I only asked for the post where he was incorrect fly accused of being a rapist taken down.

You should read.

The post said he was a convicted rapist. It linked an article that was about a person who was convicted, not him. I am not stele familiar with the situation.

I did not throw Brenda Tracey under the bus. I asked questions that were in the investigative report.

To equate these two situations is wrong and more indicative of your pathology on this issue that mine.

You should move on.
If you want credibility, never pettishly tell a person that they need to read then follow up with “stele” in your rambling.

More than one person was of the opinion that what you posted was questionable and cringey. Some said directly that you have no right to your line of questioning. A line of questioning that throws Tracey under the bus.

And here you are, a coach in a community that has been rocked by troubles with sexual assault. It makes 100 percent sense why that line of thinking is comfortable to you.

You are wrong in your thinking of what is acceptable in the Tracey situation and I see how it colors your perception here.
The post said he was a convicted rapist. He’s not. That was incorrect.

Please stop the grind on incorrect info.
I notice there were no assurances he is blameless with respect to sexual assault.

And I will notice once more that his IG is blowing up, not with the rape conviction allegation. But with accusations of sexual assault. And what looks like an account.

I read and conveyed that clearly. Perhaps instead of playing “defer to men saying the same thing but take it up with the woman,” which I have noted with irritation, perhaps YOU read? That is the 3rd or 4th time you have said that to me, and I find it pure idiocy.

There is indication that something happened, and I don’t think that sweeping it under the carpet is our jobs.

Pointing out that the conviction is someone else, valid. A pure cover up when he is facing renewed wrath, perhaps his bed to sleep in.

While all true, they also exploited a ton of our weaknesses, and their players, esp receivers and QB made some clutch plays.
Well, we all know our weaknesses, that's nothing new. How to counter is the question. Yes, the rams played hard, it's their national championship every year. I think Deion realized halfway through what this rivalry actually means (based on his comments about how unbearable the press conference would have been if Novell won--not just all the **** talking about Prime's mama, but the whole rivalry). When you have one team with nothing to lose, coming off a bye week, who see this game as their entire point to existence...

11 was not convicted of rape. That was incorrect information. That all.

Some here have claimed differently but I will say it again. Since the days they were in the old WAC CSU and the other group of schools that have been with them have had a culture where late hits, extra shots, dangerous hits, and all sorts of other dirty tactics have been common.

These are for the most part the players who are one step away but not quite good enough to play at the top level of college football. I would guess it is trying to show they are tough enough or trying to make up for some physical shortcomings but I have watched CSU and their conference brethren play for decades and there has always been more of the hitting on the outside of the sideline, extra defender (or offensive player) on the pile a moment after the whistle has blown or a punch where a forearm would do.

Watch CSU play Air Force or Wyoming and you will see plenty of what I am talking about here. Both have moved on but the old BYU-Utah games used to be a gladiator battle.

Last night though CSU elevated the dirty play an extra level. It looks like Hunter is only going to be out for a few weeks, fortunately it wasn't something more severe. The way they were playing last night we are very fortunate that we don't have somebody gone for a season.

Within the article is a link that 5 players were facing charges. No don’t take that link down. It enables people to come to information to explain what people were posting on HB’s insta before he shut comments down.

Taking pictures? That boy was no where near blameless. He would be lucky to not get slapped with possession of child pornography if he caught nude images of victims.

That is the person who went after THunt. Someone who has a future in the league.
