I’d expect a hire very shortly after the regular season ends…just allowing enough time to see if a surprise candidate becomes available. In the meantime if a guy comes along and you just cannot turn him down, plans may change.

Plenty of guys could be solid hires and would not be busts if Bronco isn't hired. Plenty.
Preferably someone who has never heard of the state.

If we must take an American, they must be from the east coast and hopefully have never crossed the Mississippi. Just start with Alabama, they don't travel. Look for people that have been on staff there for 5+ years and it's the only job they've ever had. That's our guy.
