Official CU vs Delaware Game Thread

Ya it's genuinely hard to tell if Salter is terrible or if Shurmur is just a terrible OC who isn't capable of calling plays for a run first QB. Salter was actually good at Liberty so I'm leaning towards the latter. But it doesn't really matter which one it is when the end result is bad.

Salter made his money in 2023 - 61% completions, 2,800 yards passing, 40 TDs, 1000 yards rushing, 12 TDs. But in 2024 - he was pretty average. 56% passing, 1,800 yards, only 15 TDs. 600 rushing yards, 7 TDs.

Salter is terrible, and there is nothing to gain by playing him any further this season. Also, giving JuJu two series doesn’t help anything. Let the kid play after Staub in these type of games.
I don't think there will be very many more of "these type of games".

They do t try at him over 15. Confirmed.

Start Staub and give a few series to Juju. Just like Brad Smith and Chase Daniel at Mizzou back in the day. Gotta know if JuJu can play by end of the year, so you can go back to the portal and find another.
