Official CU vs Delaware Game Thread

Damn, that's bad. Easy pitch and catch.

Live it’s not bad. It was open like that for a second. So if you were not looking at that receiver, you would miss it. That’s the play where Salter hit Taylor on the right side of the end zone. We scored - so that’s a weird screenshot to claim that Salter is a bum.

The reason he’s been benched is he is wildly inaccurate on the run, and he throws in situations where he can easily run for 10+ yards.

Have to watch the full play to see exactly what happened but there’s the safety right in the middle there to cover that. Although I feel like that’s exactly where Salter is looking and probably threw.

Here’s the play. Copy, paste, remove brackets.

It could happen but would Staub leave. He could have left previously. If he's productive, why would he not fight? Doesn't seem Staub like
He didn’t have many options. If he actually has success here he will be sought after, maybe not by a an Ohio State level program but he’ll get a P4 offer and $$ and no way Prime tries to keep him over Juju

Well, that would be whoever made the screenshot.

This is what happens when we start our QB3.

Imagine what this board would be like if it was Juju that played exactly like Staub.

Love the analysis @#1 pick , you're invested for sure.

To add to the levity of player comps, Staub reminds me of Chase Daniel (I hated that dude at Mizzou) but he could fit it in there and seemed to play smart effecient ball. Plus he was built like the rest of us lesbians, could fill out the corduroy if you know what I mean; similar to Staub.

So, all the bubble screens last year were because SS2 had to have the offense dumbed down? Bubble screens worked last year because you had exceptional players like Hunter and Wester getting the ball in space. We have different players this year, ones that might not be ideal for an outside screen game. Yet we keep going to it with ZERO success. It's not rocket science to look at our WR room and say, let's get a vertical passing game going, throw it downfield and let guys like Miller, Williams, Drelon and Brown go get it.
This. Y’all watch OU Saturday vs Michigan? Great outside screens. Looked completely different than CU. Crazy, fast twitch athletes getting the long hand off perfectly placed, supported by one or two other WRs willing to give up their bodies to execute great blocks, plus an athletic tackle rushing downfield on the angle to get in on the action in case the receiver pops one.

These plays have a place in modern college football.

In my head-canon, almost everyone on AllBuffs is a middle-aged lesbian. Avoided Allbuffs tailgate to avoid the sad truth it’s all overweight middle aged white guys. Exceptions below:

CU3X is a 75+ year old guy with hobbies including potato salad and the American Legion

Hawg - cyclist (lol)

Bread - mid 30s guy, knee to ankle is the same diameter. Not fat, just mid 30s sports bettor / work-travel / stadium food & beer enjoyer physique

Manhattan - bald, salt/pepper beard, moms on the menu

Da Lama - moderately high BMI, yells at little league coaches, active youth sports parent, former coach of something we’ve never heard of

Duff - Ron Swanson type character

Nik - generic middle aged white guy who likes baseball cards & collectibles
This is good stuff 😂 I look forward to it truly

This is the smartest move and the really the only option that keeps things stable in the locker room. Staub is just happy for the shot and even if he rolls the rest of the way, he knows this is Juju's team next year. It seems Salter got caught up in a bad situation in multiple ways. Juju was never promised the job anyway, so...
Salter got some money out of it, so it’s not all bad for him.
