The game in a nutshell: offense was pretty ineffective. Yes more than likely base package offense, but going up against a 3-9 FCS team, you would think with the hype of the offense kNU would have hung 63 just by running up the middle all afternoon.

Their defense was lackluster until the second half. The only real “wow” play was a safety blitz that resulted in a sack a fumble. The second half defense was okay.

Special teams...one punt return resulted in 6 points, next punt return was a muff and a USA recovery.

The body language of Adrian Martinez was that of frustration, Wandale Robinson could be good. Frost didn’t seem to have confidence in the team in the walk off interview...

I think The Buffs could work the run game against their front, if the line is up to it. Their d-backs are going to cue hard on Viska, but that’ll open up Harris, Brady, Brown and KD. I think if Montez can hit the 7-15 yard passes with tight ends and/or slot, the homerun ball will be there.

If our front seven show up next week, the spark that the pornhusker RB showed in the run game 2H will be nullified. If the secondary gets everything situated that will help, too.

I’m not horribly nervous, and I’m not overly confident. It’ll be a game that I wish I could attend...

Also, the crowd will be a bigger factor than anticipated. Lots of nub penalties stall drives and Buffs have the advantage on ST.

Ps, During the last 8 times Nebraska has allowed 50+ points in a game, Colorado has allowed ZERO, I repeat ZERO 50+ point games in that span.
Poor black skirts, I’m gonna mock the **** out of your stupid skull and cross bones with arms signal you dumb ****s do this Saturday, especially a Martinez twisted ankle. Ohhh the cross is going up big time then!
