Official CU vs TCU Pregame Thread

Absolutely not. TCU is in the bottom 3rd of opponents this season.
Dykes was a disaster at Cal because he had no DC, and he was over his head as a HC.
At SMU, he's proven himself to be a decent head coach. He made a sound hire I believe in getting the Tulsa DC.
TCU has better talent than CU I believe.
TCU has been running the air raid offense for awhile (Sonny Cumbie and Doug Meacham - both from Texas Tech, like Dykes).

CU is going to a completely new offense and a bit of a change up on defense as well.
Colorado QBs will see lots of pressure, which they haven't seen in scrimmage thus far.

Getting TCU in the opener seems luck to me.
I think their 2nd half puts them about mid-PAC12 level. Game 1, maybe helps?

I still can't believe we won 4 games with Chiaverinni and Rodrigue. The incredible incompetence of the Oline play and play calling was so obvious that I have no idea how we won 4 games.
I think we win this one.
And I think we get to 2-1 non conf, losing to Minn.
And if we get lucky, Turley's work with the dudes prevents injury and has us conditioned up for damn war.

We were 2-5 when rodrigue was fired; we were 2-3 with a GA coaching the oline, and much more competitive.

SIAP. Duggan is the more experienced guy but I've seen Morris projected as the starter by some

Dykes is treating it like a pre-season game. Complete confidence in a W.

Would not surprise me if the C-Unit is dead. No institutional support + **** season....
In the replies, someone insinuated that the school/AD took over the CUnit account? Not sure if accurate, but also in the replies, the CU Barstool account has kind of taken over as the official student social media account

Students now running the CU Barstool Page. Much more akin to what the C-Unit used to be.

C-Unit pages now all AD controlled (at least AD oversight). Just another marketing and branding arm for the school. Has nothing to do with the student anymore.
Is there a Director of Kill Joy Administration in the AD we don't know about? Does Dorrell have another kid who needed a job?

They did this awhile ago i believe. The AD set up a new handle that was in line with their naming conventions/branding.

The only things the CUnit account have tweeted and retweeted since April have been "official" CU marketing posts.

I wonder how much they paid the student/s who created the C-Unit handle

Kinda like Michigan. They already announced two different starters for their first two games.

Unlike Cincinnati who refuses to announce a starter because they don’t want their opponent to be able to prepare (The CU method…probably).

Duhrell isn't smart enough for that thought. He's likely not named a starter because he's married to Lewis, and likely all the coaches and the rest of the team disagree with that assessment, or equally as likely a scenario is that he hasn't named a starter just because he's a no personality stubborn A-hole who hates media days, press conferences, and generally is visually annoyed during any pubic appearance he makes. You know, just the guy you want as your lead spokesman for your program....

I put the number of dodged post game pressers at over 3 this season. I expect him to be a really toxic individual by the end of hell month, the last 4 weeks of this schedule...it's going to be a public dismantling every week, and we already know he doesn't handle it well.

Given the news that the Big 12 is redoing their media rights deal, this seems to be a possible preview of what Big 12 life could be. Don't want to get embarrassed like we did at Cal in 2010.
