Lewis had plenty of time on that 3rd down and couldn't find anyone. The lack of attempts is hurting his confidence at this point.
The protection hasn’t been great, but Lewis has missed reads and bailed from the pocket too early, too often. He needs A LOT of passing reps and they are playing this game like they are the underdog and trying to shorten the game and limit possessions

Don't question that he needs the reps.
He is looking though like a guy who expects the pressure to be on him and is playing like he is under pressure even when he isn't.
Hopefully they will get him the reps and the game will slow down for him.
