I’m up in this thread and I’m all.. FUKCC Baylor
They don’t covort with the helpDid we ever get a visit from a Baylor fan? I mean, besides Uncle Ken?
OFFICIAL: You can eat shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Officially.Lol that’s the beauty of an open pot friendly message board. You guys played a good enough game to keep the refs in control. You guys will not be that good in the pac 12 and beyond but that’s not to talk down to the big ten because your ***** ass were this close to losing against a freshman qb with no starts so don’t get a big head. Frost will keep getting better and you ****s are lost, Huskers will be fine.
Absofreakinglutly.I knew that would get your goat. Someday, we need to have a beer.
Dude, that nasally tone always rubbed me wrong. Waylon was pure power and badassedry. Willie didn't have the stage presence Waylon had, not even close.
You sonofabitches never heard of Merle Haggard! It's a great song.
Uh, I’m a resident here.Did we ever get a visit from a Baylor fan? I mean, besides Uncle Ken?
Have to heat it somehow.Do you leave the car running and the door closed?
I am very much hoping to. I hope there is an AllBuffs gater somewhere so I can meet many of you (keep the political posters away though, don't want to be throwing down at this age). Always wanted to meet Junction. Like I said, life is short, don't take it for granted, I'm living proof. You and @BuffSurveyor should come out next year for sure.
Politics outside of CU Regent races & search committee for Benson's replacement as president are off limits at a tailgate.I am very much hoping to. The guy on your Av is Towns.... like him, great writer, but cmon nobody had the full package of writer, voice, charisma, stage presence and cool like Waylon did, not even Elvis. The Hag was dam good and he has been overlooked here but he wasn't an Outlaw (although a felon). He didn't change the industry, and I will say it.... neither did Cash. Waylon and Willie kicked in the doors and got the control in the hands of the artists for the first time, that's what made them outlaws. It's hard to believe the artists have given it back to the suits. Country if not every category of music is at a low point. The industry needs another Waylon BAD.You sonofabitches never heard of Merle Haggard!
But if we are just talking country/folk, the guy on my avatar is the best of the bunch, and a CU Buffalo to boot.
Don Williams tops my list. The guy on your Av is Towns.... like him, great writer, but cmon nobody had the full package of writer, voice, charisma, stage presence and cool like Waylon did, not even Elvis. bring some of the women in your av history and you are probably more than welcomeI am very much hoping to. That would have been awesome. He was the opener for Waylon the first time i saw him in 77.
Townes was at CU for a short while. Raton always works for me, though to your point about performance, I prefer REK’s cover. The guy on your Av is Towns.... like him, great writer, but cmon nobody had the full package of writer, voice, charisma, stage presence and cool like Waylon did, not even Elvis. Have you ever heard BJS's dynamite story? Check out YouTubeyou know every single song (except one) on waylon's breakout album "honkytonk heroes" was written by billy joe shaver, right?
you should try to get out and see shaver-- he's old but he still performs.
I loved DAC for a short phaseTownes was at CU for a short while. Raton always works for me, though to your point about performance, I prefer REK’s cover.
No love for David Allen Coe or Gram Parsons?

Colorado Girl?
He was our greatest song-writer and troubador. Him and Guy Clark. As far as his CO related songs, I prefer "My Proud Mountains", but they're both fantastic.
They are all ok, i dont dislike them. Vocally Conway was as good as W or E. For unique sound Buck and Hag had great runs. As far as today's acts Jason Isbell gives me hope. A new guy named Evan Bartels I firmly think will hit big in a couple more albums. Jamey Jonson and Stapelton show flashes. Its just hard to find the whole package of Voice, writing ability, unique sound, stage presence, lead guitar.... its no crime to fall one short.Townes was at CU for a short while. Concur on all your contemporary artists. I’m liking Tyler Childers too. They are all ok, i dont dislike them. Vocally Conway was as good as W or E. For unique sound Buck and Hag had great runs. Waylon: You should give Tyler Childers, Cody Jinx and Ward Davis a listen. I assume you are Shooter fan too? They are all ok, i dont dislike them. Vocally Conway was as good as W or E. I need to add that I am EXTREMELY BIAS on this opinion.
I would add to your DAC, GP list a guy by the name of Steve Earle.
