Other games 10/3 - 10/5

Diego Pavia from NMSU is a great story
It’s really interesting watching the Vandy offense with #2 at QB. They run a very similar style to CU with a few more run-focused sets (including a FB in the pistol).

Even just in the highlight package, there were a bunch of plays by Parvis scrambling around that looked exactly like our #2 this year against UCF. (Not saying Parivs is at all SS. He’s not likely even an UDFA. But he’s a fun, tough and effective college QB.)

ACC officials know what’s good for business. Wonder why we have “conference” officials instead of league officials

The linemen downfield on the TD are so incredibly egregious lol not to mention the targeting

so disappointed in cal for dropping that. Completely understand the feeling they have though. What a day. 1st games boring, upsets next and good ol light night ball. I love college football!
way more fun when my Buffs are in the conversations.

It is obvious that CSU and Norvell in particular became obsessed with beating CU. And then they've sucked ass and can't beat Wyoming or AFA, much less CU.
Air Force is so down it's not even funny.....and they still might beat CSU.

For all the craziness of yesterday, I don't think the teams in the top 25 will change much. Louisville and UNLV out, replaced by Pitt and Nebraska. Lots of reshuffling. Army and Navy will shoot up the "others receiving votes" and be on the cusp of cracking the ranks. TTU should also get some votes and our Buffs will probably be a de facto top 30.

you were saying?

Still could benefit CU in a roundabout way-I think KSU should be top 15 (or close to it) coming out here?

For the most part, I look at what happened this week like March for hoops - the Bubble got very soft and now CU has a great path while controlling its own destiny. Just win and there's nothing in the way.

Exactly. None of these games are sure Ls.....but TT looked pretty good last night.

I've been saying it for 2 weeks, TT is the hardest game still left on our schedule.

How delicious would the fusker tears be if we get into the cfp and they don't?

A strong argument for what I know you've said, we shouldn't have rankings until October.

USC and Michigan should probably drop out.

I'm going to watch the total points received for the SEC, I have a feeling that the upsets will gain them more points for their mid teams than they lose for their top teams; essentially kicking the perpetual motion machine that drives the SEC to the top of the polls into high gear.

I think the only At-Large path is 11-2 with a loss in the CCG to something like an undefeated or 1-loss Iowa State.

While we're armchairing Saturday's games, let's all stop and acknowledge NDSU is really fricken good. They dismantled a very good UND team yesterday.
Yeah. I saw that and have been keeping an eye on them. Could be the best NDSU team in years.

I think the Big 12 is going to get two teams in because the Big 10 is so down. There are three playoff teams in that league-Ohio State, Penn State, and Oregon IMO. Nebraska's a pretender-they have a loss, and they still have trips to tOSU and USC (SC has more talent than they do, and Moss is better than Fat is). Need losses from Indiana and Illinois.

Everybody else in that conference has at least two losses, and its October 6.

Before you call me nuts, Jerry Palm only has Ohio State, Penn State, and Oregon out of the Big 10 in the playoff.

One side of a phone conversation this morning.

"Billy Bob's Towing, how kin ah help ya?"

"Ya'll want me to pull what out a da river? And take it back to the stadium?"

"Well, when did jah need it?"

"Ain't ya got another one ya kin use til I figger out how to get um up there?"

"Well hell, ah never spected to beat Bama neither but I'd kina figger ya'll might have an extra."

"I'll call mah brother Bubba an we'll get er done today."

You would think UM and USC would drop out, but AP just won't stop felaciating them.
