Did you never step outside or go downtown?? LolI went there for four years and never knew there was a nearby river.
Of the 7 at-large, I think 1 goes to Notre Dame, unless they lose 3+. 3 go to the SEC, 2 to the B1G, and 1 to either ACC or XII. If Notre Dame stumbles that could go to any of the P4 leagues.I think the Big 12 is going to get two teams in because the Big 10 is so down. There are three playoff teams in that league-Ohio State, Penn State, and Oregon IMO. Nebraska's a pretender-they have a loss, and they still have trips to tOSU and USC (SC has more talent than they do, and Moss is better than Fat is). Need losses from Indiana and Illinois.
Everybody else in that conference has at least two losses, and its October 6.
Before you call me nuts, Jerry Palm only has Ohio State, Penn State, and Oregon out of the Big 10 in the playoff.
Notre Dame is in trouble. That loss is REALLY bad, and they may not play a ranked team at all the rest of the way.Of the 7 at-large, I think 1 goes to Notre Dame, unless they lose 3+. 3 go to the SEC, 2 to the B1G, and 1 to either ACC or XII. I think Navy will be ranked when they face off, and that will be a little boost if ND wins.Notre Dame is in trouble. That loss is REALLY bad, and they may not play a ranked team at all the rest of the way.
ND shouldn't with 2 losses, but they will.Doubtful ND gets in with 2 losses

I think you're right, but I'm hoping the Big 12 can find a way to get 3 teams in. 2's happening IMO.I doubt it. Win out and they are in. As Nik said yesterday, it will be a soft bubble this year.
Maybe. I think it depends on who else on the bubble with them.I think Navy will be ranked when they face off, and that will be a little boost if ND wins.
Then the season finale at USC might be ranked if USC handles business and Penn State is their only other loss.
Either way; I just don't see 10-2 Notre Dame left out; even if they deserve to be left out.
11-1 Notre Dame is a lock no matter what else happens.

If I'm that shirtless kid; I'm getting a giant print of this image and hanging it on my wall
One thing that's clear from reading CFB social media this morning is that Vanderbilt's victory over Alabama is the biggest win in years for Auburn fans.
Why would I? The hot girls were on campus already? lolDid you never step outside or go downtown?? Lol
I think if big 12 gets 2 in that would be a huge success. Which team can get in without being the conference championI think you're right, but I'm hoping the Big 12 can find a way to get 3 teams in. 2's happening IMO.
I don’t know much of what happened in that game but they have some good players for sure.Texas Tech 52-51 Abilene Christian (Aug 31, 2024) Final Score - ESPN

This goes to show what these "rankings" are really all about: clicks and eyes.Alabama and Tennessee both remaining in the top 10 is criminal.

Downtown Nashville is not quite what you think it is.One side of a phone conversation this morning.
"Billy Bob's Towing, how kin ah help ya?"
"Ya'll want me to pull what out a da river? And take it back to the stadium?"
"Well, when did jah need it?"
"Ain't ya got another one ya kin use til I figger out how to get um up there?"
"Well hell, ah never spected to beat Bama neither but I'd kina figger ya'll might have an extra."
"I'll call mah brother Bubba an we'll get er done today."
So is Michigan being ranked at all. I know they're the defending champs, but that offense is unwatchable.Alabama and Tennessee both remaining in the top 10 is criminal.
In all my 35 years I've made the observation that Michigan is consistently the highest ranked team with 2 or 3 losses. It takes at least 3 or 4 losses before they drop from the polls. It's as predictable as the aTm hype train derailing in October or sooner (the exception being last year of course). So is Michigan being ranked at all. I don't understand that at all. If we looked as ****ing bad as they do through 6 weeks.......imagine what the CFB media would say.In all my 35 years I've made the observation that Michigan is consistently the highest ranked team with 2 or 3 losses. Nashville has become a very diverse city but there are still elements of the "old South" there.Downtown Nashville is not quite what you think it is.
