Other Games 11/22 - 11/26

I realize they’ve been banged up a bit, but goodness did the wheels come off for Gundy and Okie State in the second half of this season.

and it was raining like hell.....but they have looked terrible the last two weeks. i know Sanders has been there for a long time but his backup QB's (including Gundy jr.) have been terrible. Derek Mason (who hired KD) as DC this year.

i wonder if that saves Neal Smith? he's been marginal at WVU. 5 wins this year. Kedon Slovis got benched. they must like the other guy who isn't a USC 7 on 7 wanker.

Matt Campbell probably has a lot of rope at Iowa State but he may start to feel a little heat if he continues to lose in 2023.

There has to be context here.

They’ve been competitive in very nearly every game- it looks like they’ll lose by multiple scores to TCU, but outside of that game and Oklahoma they’ve not lost by more than a score.

Campbell owns the best season in ISU history, culminating in their ONLY major bowl win. He’s the only ISU coach to have more than 3 winning seasons in a row since they left the Missouri Valley conference in 1928, and he has 5 in a row. He has the best winning percentage of any ISU coach in the last 100 years.

It is incredibly difficult to win at ISU, and Campbell has done arguably the best job ever. He should have a contract as long as he wants one. If they want to get rid of him next year, then woe be unto them.

Fair. I just wonder if he posts another 4 win season, there starts to be some heat. It is tough to win there.

It certainly isn’t Chip Kelly’s Oregon. Got lucky with Belotti and Kelly. Now Helfrich, Taggert, Cristobal and Lanning will all leave Oregon worse than when they found it.
