I'm not gonna claim to know anything about either of these teams other than both have been very bad until NMSU's bowl win last year, but UMass looks a little better than expected. And as I type this NMSU scores to close it to 20-17.

I've been checking the box score and no sign of Brendan Rice. Is he playing?
Looks like Jackson State will have a nice little W in week zero.

Coaches will like the new clock rule when they’re ahead and hate it when they’re behind.
It will shorten the games a little bit too. Overall, I think it’s good.
