Other Games 9/12 - 9/14

Oblique injury they said. Makes for an interesting few weeks. I'm guessing they played it safe knowing it was UTSA and they were up. Oklahoma on 10/12 so I'd assume Ewers will be back by then
I don't have their schedule in front of me, but I doubt they'll miss a beat. So far, Texas is the best team I've seen. Alabama is up there, Georgia too, even though they struggled. Texas is just fvcking loaded about everywhere and has 2 QB's to boot. I hate saying that because I can't stand them but I believe it's true, SO FAR. Long season left and they might pull a step on their dick game. We shall see.

If I had an AP poll vote, I'd have them #1

But, but, but so many here think Lewis was the answer and that we’d all be sorry we let him go!!!
I still believe he's a smart dude with an innovative college offense which can equalize a game despite talent deficits. But it requires a QB who can run it, like any offense. I don't think he and Shedeur were a fit and I don't think he was anything more for CU than a 1-2 year plan for how early success could be achieved while building outside-in and waiting for the lines & ILBs/TEs to catch up to the better P4 programs.

Tennessee at Oklahoma should be really fascinating next Saturday night. OU beat a really good Tulane team (who probably should have upset KjSU last week) by 2 scores today.

Watching **** Bailer-Air Force to get a look at next week......AFA is really down this year. Wow.
Air Force is a bet against this year. They look horrible.

That offense requires a high level of coordination to work. They don't have it.

With the turnover they had after last year the offense looks ugly, when the offense isn't working for them their undersized defense wears down and it is almost all new starters as well.

Going to be an ugly year at the academy.

This Arch Manning and Texas hype is about to take off. Ewers is hurt and Manning is probably getting his first start against powerhouse UL Monroe.

Hard not to root for the Longhorns to wreck the SEC.

IDK, if half of Georgia's roster doesn't die in drunken car wrecks, Texas may be the only contender to not give us more of Kirby Smart bull****.
Or Kirby Stupid bull**** for that matter…

Didn't their starting QB get hurt? AFA only goes as far as their QB can take them.
They had an almost total replacement of starters with only 4 returning. Don't know about injuries but their QB play hasn't been what they need but neither has anything else.

They are currently averaging 167 yards per game rushing and averaging 3.2 ypa, this from at team that is usually at or near the top of the NCAA in that stat and frequently gains over 300 in a game. They are only passing for about 50 yards per game so that isn't helping either.

This is looking like it is going to be a long year for them.
