Other Games Basketball

Officially registered agents should be the only people allowed to make contact in this way. Maybe we need a market value assessment/ arbitration mechanism like MLB had with free agency.

I feel like it would be easy enough to have a database kept by the NCAA where players and their contracted agents are listed.

I imagine what these sleazebuckets are doing is trying to get a bunch of offers from schools that they can then tell a kid, “see, I can get you this money, sign with me and let’s get it done”.

I don’t know where else to put this, but I was listening to CSU’s new head coach being interviewed on the radio, and he mentioned that random guys are contacting programs about what they would offer kids if they transferred, even if the randos aren’t actually representing those specific players. How is that legal?

I mean, he didn’t get into it, I’m assuming that programs are getting wise to it and ensuring that these jokers are actually representing these players, but at the same time, I’m not sure how you do that when you can’t contact those players directly.

Technically it's not legal but has become the norm while the NCAA has disappeared when it comes to cracking down on tampering and NIL. I heard a coach (not sure who) say that if you're not contacting kids before they enter the portal you're gonna fall behind in a big hurry.

Duke 😂

Hit one field goal in the last 11 minutes, but totally the referees' fault they lost.

What an entitled fan base.

Florida being where they are this year says a ton about how good our group last year was.
