Serving two masters with that take. I still think UConn's going to be fine-even after their disaster in Maui.
If we win enough games for out NET to matter, we're best served by that UConn win on a neutral court being something that jumps off the page on our resume.

Wow, I was surprised to see North Carolina start out 4-4. Alabama is really good, but they have guy out and beat UNC easy in Chapel Hill. As far as their rival Duke, I think you better beat those guys now because they're just gonna get better as the the season goes. They aren't lacking talent, that's for sure. Of course, which teams will stay the healthiest is always a big factor. Last thing, whoever will be the last team standing, it seems to be wide open this year.
North Carolina has played 3 top 10 teams but they definitely have some issues. Their transition defense was terrible against Alabama and they've given up 85 or more points in their last 4 games, plus they lack a big man. And RJ Davis has not shot the ball very well.
X misses a 3 at the buzzer, Bearcats win by 3. Their first win in the series since '18. Some good ball played in the last 10 minutes.
Loving the rivalry games today. Georgetown / Syracuse was fun.
Growing up that was must see tv.
That rivalry was born when Georgetown beat Syracuse in the last game at Manley Field House before Cuse moved to the Dome and John Thompson grabbed the mic and declared that Manley Field House is officially closed.

They've beaten Baylor, Texas, and now Gonzaga since I wrote this.

Watching a little of UCLA v Gonzaga had me thinking about how ****ed the travel schedules are going to be for the former Pac12 schools.
In the span of like 60 days they'll take trips from L.A. to Nebraska, MD/NJ, WA, and IN/IL 2x.

Undefeated #1 Tennessee down by 19 at #8 Florida at halftime. Gators held them to 15 points.
"Live by the 3, die by the 3." To be fair Florida isn't giving up **** in the paint.
UofA is about to get back to back wins on the road vs. ranked teams. Up by 16 over WVU with 8 left.

Retained Richards, Clayton, several bigs from last year. They played Kentucky super tough at Rupp in a fun high scoring game earlier.

Alabama-Oklahoma
Kentucky-Florida
Home team won all 4 and every game but the gators, wildcats game was a 20 point blowout.
Which is why I’m not overreacting to our 0-2 big 12 start, and still have faith in our team.
It’s damn hard to win on the road in college bball.
