Other games weekend of 10/18-10/20

Give OSU credit when they get beat it lately it doesnt seem to be close. Shocking how bad that run game is with the talent they get.

Credit to Leach, Dude always has his teams ready to play. Always has a roster similar to ours and his kids usually over perform.
by the way, why did we let that Borghi kid get away???
Prior to Leach, Wazzu was 4-32 in conference. Since 22-9.

Throwing 73 times will get you beat 99 times out 100, unless you play for the Pirate.
When I was at the war college, a student wrote a paper on how to win the Counter Insurgency war in Afghanistan through the sole use of air power without the need for ground forces. I thought it was crazy.
WAZZU v Oregon was exact same concept.

I'm pretty sure I underestimated Wazzu and Utah earlier in the season, they good.
I think everyone did.
And I think some still are... I said that I think we are losing to both this year (truly believe that...hope I’m wrong) in the season prediction thread - got my balls smashed in.

People seem to be underestimating the challenge of playing on the road.
  • Oregon just lost to WSU on the road.
  • Last week, Washington lost to Oregon on the road.
  • USC lost to Utah on the road.
  • USC lost to Stanford on the road.
  • Ohio State lost badly to Purdue on the road.
  • Georgia got worked by LSU last week on the road

CU gets both Utah and WSU at home. I bet we win one of them while losing to either Cal or Arizona on the road (but not both)

Wazzu yes. Utah no.

A lot of people liked Utah this year, but they started quietly and dropped two tough conference games to open and people kind of forgot about them.

5-0: 5 percent
4-1: 20 percent
3-2: 55 percent
2-3: 15 percent
1-4: 5 percent
0-5: 0 percent

Just guesses
I’d bet on the 4-1 or 3-2. Which is a 8-9 win season. Basically what I hoped for with the dream of 10 wins. Will be interesting to see the stretch run.

Yea quite the story. Rinaldi interviewed him earlier in the game and it's amazing he was able to make the game today given his condition just 1 day ago. You can't help but love these stories where a team embraces someone who is struggling for one reason or another.

Here's his story for those who didn't see it on GameDay

I saw that and, **** man, it was hard for me to watch. I feel like a prick for saying it like it wasn't touching, it very much was. Idk how to get it across really, I know some on the board have had to deal with the same. It's definitely hard as a mother****er to see somebody you love just getting ravaged by this disease and you want to do something, but it's not in your hands, other than to be there for them.

Yep, I choked up.
