Other games weekend of 10/18-10/20

I am serious. They're actually dominating teams.

They dominated Wake who is not very good and there was more Clemson fans there than Wake fans so that was hardly a road game, and they dominated an NCSU team that we don't really know how good they are because they haven't played anybody until today. Don't get me wrong I think Clemson is still the 2nd-best team in the country and they appear to be hitting their stride but I just don't see how they're closing the gap with Bama whatsoever. If anything that gap is widening.

Who do you think Bama is dominating? Good teams?

The first part of the season was all about breaking in a true freshman QB. They weathered an off game against Syracuse and Lawrence is starting to get comfortable.

My worry is that it's wild down the stretch except for two (maybe 3) teams. I love the chaos, but it's tainted when I have to watch another playoff with Bama and Clemson. Even worse when the "new spice" is Notre Dame. UGH.

I think ND drops one down the stretch.

I agree on Bama and Clemson, but there are several teams in play for the other two spots.

From your keyboard to the scoreboard. I want two teams with two losses in the other spots.

It’s not fair that Purdue (and teams like that) get to beat Ohio State (and teams like that). And we have even sniffed something like that in almost a decade.

As noted there'll be unexpected chaos but the best guess at this point is:
- Undefeated Bama
- Undefeated Clemson

Last 2 spots go to these 3:
- A 1-loss ND. They have games against Northwestern, Cuse, FSU, and USC. They'll be favored in all 4 but if Vandy and Pitt can take them to the wire at home then all these games certainly qualify as potential losses.
- 1-loss Big 10 champ
- 1-loss Big 12 champ

A 1-loss Big 10 team gets in. Last spot will come down to ND and a 1-loss OU/Texas
