Other games weekend of 10/4 - 10/6 (yes I got the right month this time)

Texas also has 3 pretty good receivers. But OU’s defense is not good. Also being on the field for almost 200 snaps the previous 2 games cant be good.

No doubt Texas has legit WRs, but OU looks lost. Guys are way off the ball on every play.

OU should drop a lot if this score holds.

Yep, they don’t play an aggressive style of defense, more of a hold on and try and keep the score below 35.

Just shows that there’s only one dominant team so far this season.

Good news: OU getting whipped by an archrival.

Bad news: Texas whipping an archrival.

A) nice job Maryland
2) if a field goal kicker starts his approach before the ball is snapped, isn’t that a false start? (Maryland extra point...not called)

I know it's Arkansas who is very bad but Tua's halftime line is something: 10 of 12 for 334 yards and 4 TD's

One of those weird rules or rule interpretations similar to the holder being allowed to have his knee on the ground to hold for a kick and not calling it a dead ball.

Also, OU has the worst red zone defense I have seen in a long time for a supposedly very good team. They have not had a single stop this season.

I know it’s far away but watching GT game last night has me nervous for our home and home with them. If we set the edge like we have the last few years against them...they’re running for a lot more than 550 yards.

GT is one of those teams that you have to be very clean and disciplined against. The good thing about teams like GT is that they're very easy to take advantage of if you get them out of their comfort zone. Offenses like that are difficult to deal with because they're so rare, but they're also rare for a reason

You really think these teams and coaching staffs are going to look remotely the same in 2025?

How far should OU fall? I think below 15 is about right.

Also, does this change any perception about USC? They are not a top 15 team, but top 25 may be right.

This game somehow trends toward blowouts as much as, if not more than close games. It's very weird that way.

Most people don't think about that stuff though, so I expect UT to go way up, maybe too far, and OU to fall way down, maybe too far. As far as USC, who knows. Most "experts" have probably already forgotten about that game.
