Oh darn. Texas lost again. Shucks.

Yeah ... always good when the Whorns lose. I still feel kind of bad for Strong though ... but then I realize that it won't take him longer than two shakes for him to find a HC job at a school that might actually appreciate him.

VaTech just fumbled. Ticking under 10 minutes, GaTech leading by 16 with the ball. There may not be a better suited team to protect a 16 point lead than GT.

Not looking good for Wyoming. UNLV up 43-31 pending the EP early in the 4th quarter.

Wyoming has been solid on defense all year but this game they can't seem to control UNLV.

Safe to say that the ACC Coastal is out of the conversation now. But wow could they play spoiler in the ACC Championship.

That would be awesome.
Assuming that CU wins out, b/c obviously. Bama wins out and Mich wins out and Oklahoma wins out. That would leave us with Mich and Bama in as no doubters, Then from the P5 teams we'd have P12 Champ CU at 11-2, B12 Champ Oklahoma at 10-2; I think the two best choices; but then 11-1 Louisville, 12-1 Clemson, 12-1 Washington who could all argue for a spot.

VT should not get this fumble on 3 different counts, all by a hair.
1. It's a forward pitch by about 6 inches.
2. VT #19 steps out of bounds then bats the ball back in bounds
3. The recovering player's foot is on the boundary line as he secures the ball.

Uggggh, being on the east coast after daylight savings time sucks. It's been dark for a while and we're still 3.5 hours+ from kickoff......

VT will have to wait 2 weeks now to try and win their division since both them and UNC are playing out of conference next week. On the 26th UNC plays NC State and VT plays UVA.

"Out of conference games this late in the season are dumb."

Says virtually every conference other than the SEC and ACC.

I think Clemson/S.Carolina, Louisville/Kentucky, Florida/Florida St., and Georgia/Georgia Tech are all very legitimate rivalry games that belong at the end of the season; I'm sure those, coupled with Notre Dame's pseudo-ACC status in scheduling are the reasons that we see the late season non-cons pop up.
