Other games weekend of 11/8-11/11

I know the Pac's whole idea is to tap into the late night market but damn if I've had a long week and the kids go to bed early I'm not staying up that late. The prime SEC and B1G games have such a big time feel to them and I can't say the same about PAC. Something needs to change.

Ended up watching DU hockey take down the number 1 team last night instead. Worked for me.

i realize the pac 12 is trying to expand its audience, but for us that live on the west coast the kick off time for last night's game is typically perfect. get home from work, chill a bit, have dinner, watch the game. also, it is so much better to have a relevant game with good teams than one we don't really care about. if i am going to spend a friday evening watching football i want the game to be good/ interesting. 5:00 PST games are tough because while i generally make my own schedule, my clients expect me to be available till 5 (and after) so leaving early is not always an option.

also, to those who had to watch the trucks, that is one of the joys of cutting the cord. i watched on the fox sports app, which showed the game - it didn't matter what channel it was on.

Don't feel too badly I watched the CU MBB game last night then switched to the DU hockey game.

It's so easy to rip PAC fans but when their school administrators appear to not give a rip about football or sports, it's hard to be a fan. The only PAC team besides CU that I like to watch is Arizona due to that offense. It was exciting to be in a new conference but that has worn off. Given that I have given the NFL the boot over the anthem controversy, I'm going to follow more college football than I have in awhile so I'll be watching other conferences.

What happened to the hordes of Nebraska fans that would fill opposing stadiums up?

Nebraska getting their asses beat :ROFLMAO:
Yeah. Minnesota is their closest peer in the B1G, too, so this one hurts. Another upper midwest state that has the state to itself other than a good private school for basketball (or small schools for hockey in the case of MN) and had glory days in football decades ago when they were a national power. I suppose Minnesota has some inherent advantages over Nebraska due to having a larger metro population and overall population. But it shouldn't be this bad.

Mike Patrick - doing Okie St/Iowa St. - looks 30 years older than the last time I saw him. Maybe I took a Rip Van Winkle nap.

Minnesota makes it 37-14 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. I never thought I'd feel pity for the Nubs, but I'm on the edge.

37-14 Gophers, Huskers quitting on their coaches!!!

PJ Fleck stock going up
Mike Riley stock has officially hit penny stock and will soon be de-listed

We will be facing a Huskers team with a brand new coach in their 2nd game next year!!!

I don't understand anyone rooting for the ****-for-brains Miami over ND. I do get that Richt is a cooler guy than the psycho Kelly, but come on.

****bailer losing to Tech 31-14 in the 4th.

Even though those idots in Lawrence couldn't get the job done, we can take comfort that ****bailer will lose the rest of their games, probably badly.

So you understand why people might be rooting against ND?

I have a severe dislike for Lou Holtz, and any team he has every been a part of, especially the Irish. Miami is a pretty sloppy program, but they have personality. Agreed, do not root for either team specifically or by choice, but would prefer a Miami victory today.

Minnesota 47-21
Huskers have officially completely quit on the coaches and playing defense for the psycho that is Diaco
Are we gonna get the 50 Burger?

I actually like Mark Richt a lot-strikes me as a guy who has always done things the right way. Cool to see him have this kind of success this quickly.........and would love to see his team be the ones to prevent this country from having to watch Notre Dame in the playoff
