Other games weekend of 8/31-9/3

So who was that idot in the original post in this thread talking about LSU falling apart and predicting that Miami would blast them. Oh, that was me.

Lesson for you guys, never bet the predictions made as I throw together the new thread each week.

Not a problem.

Miami could be real good with a better QB.
Idk. LSU is never an offensive powerhouse and they put up a lot of points on that D.

PS. I hate preseason rankings. Miami a top 10 team? Please. Wait til after week 3 for polls IMO. I guess that’s the point of the playoff poll tho. The rest is just to have something to talk about and sell advertising.

Nice to see Francois back on the field. Such a tough kid when I watched him as a freshman.

What happens when they tell you that you're too flamboyant to participate in the Tallahassee pride parade? You go to the FSU game.

Speed, just how relative is it?

I know the B&G colored glasses and everything, but watching the VT/FSU game, I really don't see the same speed as CU against CSU. I can't believe that CU is faster than VT or FSU, but my eyes are saying something else. Either CU is significantly improved, or relative speed differentials make a big difference in the observation.

A choppy, wet field has something to do with it.

Similar thought here - fsu doesn't look as fast as prior years.
