Other games weekend of 9/27-9/29

Florida takes down #23 Miss State.

Not that this helps CU. The way this goes is that Florida is the replacement SEC team in the Top 25.

Very nice bounce back game from the hokies. Their defense was stout (again). Their offense was efficient. That ODU loss killed any shot of them having a special year. However, they’re alive and well in the ACC.

The ACC is no bueno.
You sure about that? I acknowledge Clempson struggled today but, all teams will.

As dominant as how Alabama has been, they will struggle in a game somewhere. Just the nature of the game.

I’m absolutely not sleeping on Clempson. They have serious talent up and down that roster.

Clemson looks very good, not great. Which team is second best in the ACC?

Almost every team in college football uses the S&C coach as their "get back" coach, the guy responsible for keeping players and coaches from costing them a penalty. These guys tend to know who is most likely to be an issue.
Yes, but usually they run up and down the sideline, very unusual for there to be one for a single coach to act as an anchor.

That’s a legit concern and will be said about the PAC-12 as well when the late season discussions take place.

I’m not sure I can give a second best team in the ACC right now. It’s a hot mess and your point stands.

However, do you have 4 better teams top to bottom than Clempson?

Off the bat I have Alabama, maybe OSU, PSU and OU. And other than Alabama, I’m not convinced of it.

Who gives a **** about the Pedo State white out? Didn’t they start that about 3 years ago? Tradition? Give me a break.

You seem to be focused entirely on Clemson. I am talking about the conference as a whole.

Everyone knows the Pac-12 is bad, the ACC has not done anything to date to say they are better.

As far as teams better than Clemson?

Bama
OU
Ohio State
Penn State
West Virginia
Notre Dame

Oregon State is awful. Seems like I say that every week. They are slow, small, and unmotivated. That win over Southern Utah is looking like the lone victory on their schedule.

This just in: Oregon State has more wins than Nebraska. Lolololololololol.

Alabama east?
