If you are, as someone who calls oneself a CFB fan, but who isn't watching the Furd-ND game, you are an idiot (with all undue respect).
 
Of course, not much to say that hasn't already been said here.

gut check time. Stanford needs to stop them on 2 plays inside the 10.
 
Stanford had them stopped.

Now need to stop them first and goal at the two. Don't have a lot of confidence that they will based on how ND has run on them the rest of the game when they needed to.

Was he worried that ND would kick a FG, grab an onsides and then have time to kick another FG to go to OT?

He also didn't go for 2 after his last TD which I don't understand.

But not leaving his offense some time is the thing that's inexplicable.
 
It's only right that we get a FG attempt as the final play in this one.
