Overall PAC12 football experience

Yeah Snooze sucks.

Have a lot of you all been to Hawaii? I hear mixed things. I always expected it would be just great but some normal happy people I know didn't really love it to much.

Dragged by your wife? Lol.

yeah, lol. I had never heard of the place until I met her. When they opened on in Westminster we tried to go, walked up to a long around the building, over 2 hours, I said f that and left. She dragged me back again months later, same ****. I told her I wasn’t going back again until they decided to put more than 10 tables in a restaurant.

What? Hawaii is phenomenal. Oahu is a little touristy but it’s a fantastic beach at Waikiki. Maui is great, better than Oahu, little more laid back.

Kauai though? I’d move yesterday. Kauai is a dream, it’s paradise. It’s what you envision when you think of a tropical paradise. ****, I miss that place so bad.

I'll try Kauai on your recommendation and the Bella Bella Benny at Snooze, also on your recommendations.

Someone told me the inner parts of Hawaii are Newark with palm trees and the natives don't like whitey.

Going to Kauai in February with my family, and I might try and take a puddle jumper to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor. That's what my folks (who have been there before) say.

Give living in Northern Wyoming a try and you'll have a whole new perspective on weather in Colorado. :)
I’ll pass, thanks. It’s beautiful up there but if I don’t like the cold here, I’d be miserable there in the Winter. The perfect scenario for me is spend Summer and Fall in Colorado, Winter and Spring someplace warm. I think it’s just me getting older. The cold never used to bother me that much, but every year that passes, I become less tolerant of it.

I still love Summer here. Nothing better anywhere.

Really depends on what island you’re on, and what interests you. It’s remarkable how different each island is from the others. Somebody who loves Kauai would probably dislike Oahu.

Snooze? You mean the 2 hour long line snooze? I went on 2 different occasions dragged by my wife and the wait was over 2 hours, I’ve never tried again.
You're not wrong. They are very average at best, just different attracts people. Then again I prefer the greasy spoon places for breakfast like a Janie's Cafe in Longmont.

Snooze corned beef hash is amazing. I go probably once a month and just wait for two spots to open up at the bar. Usually end up waiting about 10 minutes.

Loved the Big 8. Hated the Big 12. Like the Pac.

I was in school at the end of the Big 8 days when CU was climbing the mountain. I hated the way the conference changed with the addition of the Texas schools. It was the beginning of the end of a pretty great conference. Travels to every Big 8 campus and had fun at most of them.

The Pac road trips are better locations for sure. Absolutely hate USC and they are my new conference ****ers! Also really do not like ASU, UCLA and Oregon from the North. Do not mind Utah as a fan base and that does not show any real signs of being a rivalry.

The Network sucks. I have it on Dish but we as an entire conference are getting hosed from a revenue stand point

I agree with this. I believe CU will find it's football footing in the PAC-12, as a unique destination for football recruits. The Texas schools overran the Big12 North; hence CU needed to find another conference. PAC-12 is a better fit than B1G, but I do miss a rival. I do not think Utah will become that--just no history and too late in the season to care.

I am in the minority and I hate the Stinklon Fuskers; but I would like to see them on the OOC schedule each season for rivalry purposes (even if they pretend CU is not their rival). Those games are hard hitting and electric, and when CU comes out on top, it energizes our fan-base even if the **** nub fans take a large portion of our stadium for an afternoon. We know that after CU wins, those schleps have a long drive back to Stinklon. I'm glad to have little brother (CSU) of the schedule for a few years. IMO, they are more annoying, but I do want to see the new stadium.

Estes Park is not that interesting, but in-staters know it.
Estes Park is the place to fill up with gas, possibly spend the night, and then, if you are from out of town, spend your money on stupidly cheap tourist crap. I believe there are 2 or 3 restaurants above the level of tourist crap because they can get away with it.

Don't get me wrong Rocky Mountain National Park would be on my one hand of best places in the US to visit in terms of geographical significance and scenery. That place is damn near amazing. Estes Park? Well...

No, I’ve lived here my entire life, I don’t see what’s so great about it. I mean it’s okay, it’s better than some states but it’s not like it’s a paradise worthy of the droves of people moving here. I don’t care for the snow and I can’t snowboard anymore due to my messed up knee, I’d rather live by the ocean. It has his moments, it’s not a terrible place to live.
Go to the ocean, get out of this miserable place.

85, I tried to tell you this last time you went down this path. If you don't like it here, leave. Sure, you have a job. Nothing keeps you from applying to one elsewhere. Do it now while the economy is still mostly hot. I have no doubt you could do a lateral transfer with little issue.

Please don't complain about the moving costs. If that is more than your current status of bitching, then it is what it is and find a way to be happy with your current station in life. You will be much more satisfied that way.

Haha I wasn’t even bitching! This all started because I said Colorado sucks because you can’t attend a sporting event without being outnumbered by the opposing teams fans. Colorado is fine, I probably take it for granted because it’s all I know. I do hate the traffic but that’s anywhere and I do hate the cold but does anyone REALLY enjoy being cold? I love the summers here. I still don’t understand what the mass appeal is to Colorado and why everyone all of a sudden insisted on moving here. But I suppose compared to most states it’s probably better.

I am considering moving but who knows when.
