Possibly. But I've also seen stuff where expansions are anticipated and pre-approved with escalators built in if they happen.
Sure, but I think that scenario is highly unlikely considering how drawn out this has become and the fact that GK (and the Presidents) have clearly been talking to SDSU and SMU already.

ESPN offers $90M for the top 2 football games each week. If true, there’s no way we can get an additional $220M out on the market for the rest of our content to match the B12. Day by day, those early $22-25M per school rumors are sounding real. FML.

Also rumors of unequal playoff revenue distribution. Which schools have to give up some of that to make Oregon, UW, & Stanford happy?? Are we one of them? I think we would be

I don't see how the ducks and huskies could demand unequal revenue share, no one wants them. They are stuck and at the mercy of the four corner schools.

I f****** hate the term four corners. I’ve never heard of this term until July 2022 and to me it stands for second class citizen in the P12. Puts us with a basketball school, a glorified community college and former MW school. It’s code for “go to the B12 already”.

I’m not saying that’s what you meant just ranting on that term.

A “former mountain west school” was just in the national championship. Who gives a ****. Utah has a really good athletic department

Agreed. Utah's success vs. CU's success since joining the Pac 12 leads me to believe that CU should not be mocking Utah in any way, shape, or form.

Lol "4 corners" is a geographically appropriate way to refer to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. Seriously a weird thing to bitch about.

However, given you have never heard that term until last year, I am assuming you have never visited the four corners monument at the border intersections of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico...

I'm surprised by that. I knew "4 Corners States" back when I moved to AZ from the east coast back in the early 90s. I thought it was a common way to refer to this group of states that all have their borders meet up in that corner.

Decided not to because they charge 8 bucks a head to see a plaque on the ground. (and I'm cheap)

You can stand in all four states at the same time where their corners touch, man! Didn’t you know that?

Let me rephrase for the record (need the court stenographer this is important). I’ve never heard of these four schools being called 4Cs before the realignment s*** went down. Geographically speaking, yes I’ve heard of it before. Football wise, no, never heard us referred to that way with those other 3 schools. Have you? Has anyone?

No. But none of us were ever in the same conference before until CU and Utah joined the Pac.

I don't think Creighton would ever leave the Big East. It's their perfect fit and pays at least as well for non-football as the Pac would. But, yeah, if they had interest.
No way Creighton leaves the Big East. It's a perfect fit for them.

Interesting. The term reminds me of the Four Corners.
