Pac-12

This is what it's going to be like all year in this conference. A bunch of mediocre teams = chaos in the league standings.

However, I am truly shocked that Utah managed to beat Wazzu. I had Wazzu as my 9th team in the Pac, but wow.

Washington will get to 3-1 league play today assuming they win at Utah. Still, at 9-6, they're already in "need to win conference tournament" mode. Should be interesting to see how they respond these next few games.

UCLA should take care of business at home against Arizona State. Both teams showed that they actually have a pulse in their respective last games, with UCLA getting a nice win over Arizona, and ASU winning at USC. With a win today the Bruins would get back to 2-2 in league play.

The most interesting game of the day - aside from our own - is Stanford @ Oregon State. Stanford got exposed pretty badly at Oregon the other night, while Oregon State recovered from their 0-2 start with a nice win over Cal. I'll take the Beavs in this one since they're at home.

29-27 Huskies at halftime. wtf

Edit: Huskies win 57-53. Is Utah getting their act together?

Stanford and Oregon State headed into OT in Corvallis

UCLA killing Arizona State in Anaheim

Edit: ...and on to OT numero 2 in Corvallis. 83-83.

Edit: Time for OT number 3. 92-92. Wow.

Stanford and Oregon State now headed into OVERTIME NUMBER 4. This is crazy. The teams are so exhausted that they only managed 3 pts each in the 3rd OT. 95-95

This OSU-stanford game has been pretty epic, but also pretty horribly played since I started watching with about ten minutes left in regulation. I'm also ready to kill the color guy, he's ****ing terrible. And that jackass just fouled a three point shooter up three.

Stanford wins 103-101 in 4OT. Brutal loss for the Beavs on their home court as they fall to 1-3 in the Pac and now have to head to Tucson.

It's shaping up that our road trip through Berkeley and Palo Alto will determine who controls their own destiny in the conference.

Saw a bit of the Udub v Utah game last night. The color analyst, Ernie Kent (I pretty sure) was talking about the conference favorites being AZ, Cal, and Udub, with "a couple of surprise teams in Oregon and Oregon St."

W...T...F... ?????? You forget to look at who just beat the fuskies? They forget to give you a copy of the conference standings, Ernie ?????

ASU just booted their leading scorer keala King off the team after suspending him on thursday. With utah playing a little better asu may end up last in the conf.

I get what you're saying ..... and I can't disagree. However, you have to look at it like we won't get any respect (deserved or otherwise) until we prove it on the court. Finish in the top 4 or so, make some noise at the conference tourney, make a run in a postseason tourney every year, and they will start to notice. To be perfectly frank, I'm not so sure that a lot of "old Pac-10" people even realize that Colorado and Utah are part of the conference now!!! It's going to take a little time, but if we keep winning, the recognition and respect will come.

I would completely agree with you '77, if we it weren't for the fact that we had just destroyed Udub. Can't ignore that no matter what you preferences or biases are.

I agree with '77. UW on the road is terrible, and this may be their worst road squad ever under Romar (sub .500 on road over the past 10 years). UW could go winless on the road the rest of the season unless they really mature as a team. They beat Utah by.... 4?

If CU is at the top of the conference at the end of the year, that'd be something. If they go out and beat UCLA or Arizona on the road, that's something. I don't want to discredit CU by any means, as Tad Boyle has the program on a serious uptick. But it will take winning on the road and finishing high in the conference at the end of the year to make the pundits praise CU. Winning at home without the rest is not enough. CU could be fun to watch this year, and with the Pac being at a probable all-time worst it's certainly a great year to try and win the title...

Imagine if Alec came back. We could have been undefeated. Top-15. We end up winning the Pac-12 Make the elite eight. Alec Burks the 1st overall pick by to Denver Nuggets. Top-5 recruiting class for 2013. top-10 team pre-season poll.

Don't forget that everyones **** would smell like flowers.

I saw this game. Absolutely absurd, but awesome. If i would have been coaching I would have tried a 2 minute period of switching out all players. Everyone on the court was dragging ass by the fourth OT.

Cal bounces back with a nice 77-60 win over the Ducks in Eugene. Bears now 3-1 in the Pac, Ducks 2-2.

Arizona takes care of business at USC, 57-46. Wildcats move to 2-1, Trojans fall to 0-4.

Wow, it looks like those seats are right on top of the court. Could be a tough place to get a road win.

I dunno. Seems to be enough room based on the humans in the pic. Also, along the side, the seats are raised up so that kinda adds to the separation.

The arena does look compact, so I guess it could get loud.

Looks like a nice place, wouldn't say the seats are on top of the court however. Facade of the building is pretty sick, and inside looks purty good
