Predictions for RMS

I hear all those 4* CU has gotten the last 5 years were pretty good.

That #16 class in the nation in 2008 should be looking pretty good right about now. With that class you guys should be a 10 win team this year.

Oh wait

Those 2 star players you got should live up to form with another losing season. Why are you bashing CU when your team is effing awful? Damn, you csu fans are just DUMB.

Dumb is knowing his team never played in a major bowl game, an more than likely never will but he'll run weak smack to fans and alumni of a school that has more major bowl(Orange, Fiesta, Cotton) than his school has bowl appearances.

It's the big problem with our annual game and the "rivalry" talk. CU is so far out of their league that they have to unrealistically try to cut CU down while unrealistically propping themselves up in order to make any case for this being a legitimate rivalry. It's unhealthy.

CSU's real rivals:

1. Wyoming "Bronze Boot" game. Rams lead all-time 55-43-5. Series is 5-5 in the last 10 with Wyoming winning the last 3. Competitive, closely matched, good rivalry for them.

2. Air Force "Ram-Falcon Trophy" game. Zoomies lead all-time 30-19-1. AFA also leads 7-3 in the last 10, including wins in the last 6. Air Force has been dominating lately, but it's a competitive series that is closely matched.

Compare that with CU. Buffs lead all-time 61-20-2. Basically 75%. Since the series renewed pretty much annually in 1983, Buffs lead 18-6. Right at 75%. CU has won 7 of the last 10, including 4 of the last 5. That's not competitive enough to be called a rivalry. We're also trying to compare a BCS program with multiple national award winners, major conference championships and a national championship with a mid-major program that has an all-time losing record. The only thing that makes it a "rivalry" is that the schools have played a lot of games against each other and are located fairly close within the same state. That and people trying to call it a rivalry.

Buffs have won 4 out of the last 5 in a time in their football history that can be considered very down.

"It sucks to be a csu ram"

Looks like Dorian Brown is definitely gone. Posters on Ramnation say Tonga is in - but there has been zero confirmation other than random internet posters

that was that RB/FB we all liked right?

CU rolling into the RMS with 25 career receptions at WR and two players with experience.

CSU has over 100 and our top 6 returning.

lololololol.

lmfao. Our D may be bad this year but your O is going to be effing terrible

It's ok, our fullbacks are bigger than CSU's DT's. Running through that line like a hot knife thru butter

Maybe - This is the joy of college football, there are always new players coming on the scene.

I look for a few players to have their coming out party slicing up the CSU defense.

I don't recall needing to throw a pass pretty much the entire 4th quarter last year.....wasnt there like a 10 minute drive where we just pounded the rock....pretty sure that's going to be the similar situation, so WR experience is the least of my concerns against the goats

We've got the big DT now though in the middle.

Pounding run game--- starting running back is 5'7". Back ups are all 5-6"-5-8"

LMFAO.

How many DI snaps does he have again? We trotted out pretty much the exact same RB's last year, except Speedy who was even smaller. Ya, our 5'6 RB's pounded CSU's DT's. How sad

You don't know what you're talking about.

Tony Jones 5'7
DD Goodson-5'6
josh ford-5'9

Yep. Sounds like a pounding run game. If Embree wants to run a Pro-Style offense maybe he should stop recruiting midgets to play RB

One misconception with fans is that a rivalry has to be mutual - they seldom are. Nebraska use to think that OU was their rival but OU always considered UT their rival. Texas A&M has UT as a Rival but UT considered OU their rival. Michigan State has Big Blue as their Rival but Big Blue has OSU as their Rival. Their are many one-sided rivalries and a few mutual - USC- ND, OU - UT, Alabama - Auburn, Michigan - OSU are all mutual rivalries. CU is CSU's rival but it is not mutual. I will never be calling CSU our rival. Right now we are looking for one but it will not be CSU.

Those exact RB's pounded an even more experienced CSU DL last year. And he didn't recruit anyone but Goodson. Payne/Crowder are each 220+lbs

Do you really think height is a primary attribute for a running back?

Ton Jones 5'7 - 190
DD Goodson 5'7 - 170
Josh Ford 5'9 - 205

And of course you forgot the incoming guys

Donta Abron 5'10 - 190
Davien Payne 5'11 - 220

And you left out our fullbacks.... who needs a giant RB when you've got these guys running over your 270lbs DL

Powell - 6' - 235
Nordgard - 6'1 - 240

Maurice Jones-Drew: 5'7"
Barry Sanders: 5'8"
Emmitt Smith: 5'9"

GASM would actually have a point if we were looking at DD Goodson getting most of the carries after Tony Jones. Goodson is really not the type of back you want getting many carries in a pro-style offense. Pretty doubtful it will happen though.

yup. I think one of the bigger frosh backs will get 2d fiddle. we need size there.

Neither have played a snap, a recurring theme for CU

Your defense sucks, you have nwoke and gilmore. Your ol sucks, your qb sucks. Your wr are div 3 types.

STFU and admit how bad you suck. The recurring theme is CU beats csu AGAIN. Look it up, unless YOU can't read.
