Pryor leaves Ohio State (was: We now take you to Columbus, Ohio)

It is entirely possible true freshman Braxton Miller will be the starting QB for 2011 now. A win in Columbus will be difficult to obtain, but the game is not nearly as daunting as it was three months ago.

People act like they are shocked, the only thing Ohio State is guilty of is getting caught. Julio Jones's momma(she worked at a fast food chicken rest.) was riding around in a brand new SUV when he was a freshman at Alabama, and guess what it wasn't provided by Alabama, but another school who had recently lost players due to improper cars. Every school is guilty of this, only the lucky avoid getting caught.....

They can, I know people in the know who know people in the know. Trust me, they can

Oh yes you did, Craig. Cuz my sister-in-law's baby cousin Tracy saw you there all hugged up with some tramp. Now tell me who she was.

What's the over/under on when he starts riding around in an upgraded car ?

I was just thinking about this situation and it's not good for us. I think had Pryor stayed on the team it would have divided the locker room. Now the team will be united in an us against the world situation. I wish he would have stayed around.

I agree. I wanted them to be in turmoil, not moving on.

I think the turmoil factor is going to still be very high for a while.

Agreed. This is going to go well into the fall and I expect many more names of active players to come out. OSU is hoping that with Vest and Pryor gone that this will somehow just go away.

So, does anyone else think Pryor may have cost two coaches their jobs? Tressell for what went down at OSU and Rich Rod at Meatchicken. If he had gotten Pryor, he might still have a job.

Funny how that one worked out.

Yeah, the funniest thing is that Michigan of all places lost him for not offering him enough cars.

The former friend asked not to be shown on camera or identified by name, but he told ESPN's "Outside The Lines" that Pryor was making money hand over fist for the same thing that got him suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season. Only this wasn't just selling a couple Ohio State trinkets for tattoos, this was cold hard cash for a few minutes of his time.

Wow, Pyror definitely knew who was #1.

Even so, CU doesn't have the horses to beat ohio state, especially at home. This is the one game I want more than any other. To shut up my family, friends back in ohio.

Anyone listen to "Vic and Gary" this morning? Peter Schaeffer is co-hosting with Andress. If you don't know, he's a pretty well thought of sports agent. He estimates that 10% of college players cut deals with agents while in school. It is farily common for agents to promise $100K or $200K to kids for their business.

He also thinks Pryor is a huge question mark as far as talent goes and that he really needed one more year of college to answer the questions.

I have real doubts about Pryor's ability to play QB in the NFL. He's a great athlete but not a great QB. He isn't going to be helped by the lockout as well since he will not have a chance to participate in any of the team drills or get the coaching. Once the season starts they aren't going to have time to do much with him so if he goes to the NFL next season it will be a lost year for him.

I wonder if he isn't better suited to play a couple of years in Canada then move down like Warren Moon and Doug Fluttie did.

Seriously, how many teams (other than the Raiders) are going to take a flyer on this guy? He hasn't exactly been bolstering his resume with each new revelation, and he's not a definitive NFL prospect. No NFL team (except the Raiders) welcomes a headache-in-waiting.

The Broncos have a nice history with OSU problem children.

Pryor will be a 2nd tier WR in the NFL.

This is exactly how he WILL be drafted in this year's supplemental draft. He did catch a TD against UT in the Fiesta Bowl.

Logically you are correct but his ego won't let him do it. He will insist on playing QB, even if it means he doesn't play.

He is also a big enough name, even a stained name, that somebody will at least give him a shot as a draft pick in the supplimental draft. But not as high a pick as he expected to go so he will start pouting.
