They're terrible - they are the 3rd best helmet among the academies.
Michigan has the best helmets in college football, with honorable mention to USC, Georgia, Notre Dame, LSU, and Clemson.
Those are awesome helmets too. But nothing looks as cool as AFA lining up in the option.

LSU helmets are terrible.
All white is crisp and clean. Texas all whites are some of the GOAT college unis.

As an aside, Sefo deservedly gets a ton of crap from the fans, but that pass was about as perfect as you can get. He has the physical ability to be a top QB in this league, it is all mental with him.
