Sean mother****ing Lewis

I think the inside runs actually open up the offense, but Edwards is not the guy to be running those plays.
That's the other problem. Hank is, but he's not good in space and as a WR, so you either have to give up aspects of your offense or allow the defense to key on plays based on personnel.

We can't block anyone with our OL and our TEs are just bigger and slower WRs who can't help with the run game.

We have key players out.

Yet somehow we've got an offense averaging 36 points per game (best in the nation in red zone) and people are pissed at the OC. I have no idea why you people are upset.
What would our record be without Shedeur?

I have seen some adjustments, but it is weird tome that the game is horizontal at the beginning and we don't go downfield until it is do or die time.

0-6, probably, if we hadn't signed a different competent QB in the portal.

We have 2 players who are top NFL prospects on this roster other than some freshmen with a lot of development to do. The rest of the team on offense is below average for P5 - with individual guys on the field ranging from good (Weaver) to liabilities.

Don't underestimate the impact of having zero time to throw. Messes up timing of route concepts. Tough to do much creative stuff when we are limited to 3 step drops and maybe one QB hitch.

Running Dylan up the middle instead of outside the tackles frustrates me. Need to adjust to the personnel more, but when we have time to throw we move the ball.
Yeah Edwards power up the middle. Hankerson razzle dazzle finesse swing passes. The ****?

In the weekly show with Romi Bean, Prime said that Hank is the man. Really surprised McCaskill is not getting any run.
there was an interview this week where CP talked about Alton having 3 years and stated that AM wasnt completely fit. i think theyre holding him like the nuggets did with jamal until he's 100 percent ready. he might win us a national title ... this year he might win us 1-2 extra games. if he gets fully fit he might be a 1st or 2nd round pick. i guess i am just excited for the foundations we build this year and the potential for the next 1-5 years. we've come a long way from 2022, but everything we do this year just says we comin for the future

Flea’s interview on DNVR was interesting. He clearly isn’t stoked about the run/pass splits. He’s a pro, but you can read between the lines.

Hank’s avg is pretty good. Dylan is being misused, wrong down/distance/play combos for him. Calling less than 20 running plays isn’t allowing our RBs to cycle and get up to speed

Dillingham talked about all the injuries on their OL and QB as reason why they’ve had to be a lot more creative on offense in order to keep up. Lewis needs to adjust to his talent level. That’s what great coaches do, and to this point he’s only been OK at it. If he has to keep a TE in to chip on the right side every single time, then he needs to do that.

I’m tired of hearing week after week how disappointing the OL and pass pro is, only to watch them keep sending 5 guys into the route and have SS drop back into a standard pass set and put our OL in one on one situations across the board, or leave Edwards in to pick up the blitz.

Coach to your talent

After the TCU game I was worried we’d lose him after the year, now I’m not worried about it. With Prime getting comfortable he’d bring in someone better. OL needs the biggest improvements and I’m sure he’ll get that too.

The OL has struggled this season. We did just beat ASU without Wells and Washington. Considering Brown hasn’t received the UNC treatment, that’s 3 starters down.

We have to beat Stanford and get to the bye week. Hopefully that allows the OL to heal a bit, and we then get Travis back as well.

Won’t fix most issues, but it will help a lot.

Wells was the starting center last night. Washington was sorely missed
