His dad picked out only a handful of teams that would be acceptable for Shedeur, so everyone else figured they'd have a headache with criticism of the franchise from day one. No team wants to deal with Prime in case of a starting QB competition or potential locker room conflict. So easier to just pretend he doesn't exist. I'm shocked franchises that want attention for the sake of attention don't say **** it and take him.

There need to be lessons learned from this for Deion. When the sell is preparing players for the NFL that includes making sure the players jump through all the hoops. His son falling in the draft is an opportunity to pivot and ensure it does not happen for future players.

I actually think the Browns are having a great draft outside of the Gabriel pick.

I mean he obviously didn’t have much choice
He also has a pretty decent chance to win the starting job. And apparently he was a great fit for the offense

Watson is done there. Flacco is the veteran in the room who probably starts the year. He has to beat out Pickett and Gabriel.

they’re going to throw Watson out there without an Achilles tendon
144 draft position yields a 4 year, $4.4M contract. Shedeur made more than that in 2024 NIL. The slide literally cost him $25M
Browns dont have an entrenched starter. He has a legitimate path to earn a starting job at some point
Gabriel not making it to the final roster. Maybe even Pickett.

So apparently analytics people think you should select multiple QBs in a draft if you need a QB.
