Spring game - April 22, 2023 - LIVE ON ESPN

Prime truly is a miracle worker. Per Jr. last night they sold half the available tickets yesterday.

If they sold 1/4 of the tickets, that's crazy to me. Anyway, they are back at it on social media today. Updated thread title and made the thread sticky since this is on track to be the biggest spring event in CU football history.

Most spring games the last 10-15 years had maybe 1-2k at most

My dad and I usually go up for it every year as an excuse to grab some lunch and few beers in Boulder and go sit in the sun for a few hours.

Going to be a little different vibe this year

Definitely.

I probably attended 7-8 of the "games" in the 2010s and there were some years where 2,000 in attendance seemed generous.

The last spring “game”‘I attended was probably in 2013 or 2014. It was MacIntyre’s first or second year. He trotted out some guys, ran some drills, and called it a day. I was unenthused.

My bad for posting ticket sales numbers in the “other” thread. Sales are over 27,000. The highest spring game attendance up to now is a bit above 17,000.

I think (but am not certain) that the 27,000 "sales" number means the $10 tickets actually purchased, and does not include the free 10,000 or so student tickets obtained through another venue. At least I hope so. Either way, Folsom will be rocking that day. Today, I purchased my roundtrip flight from Orange County to Denver for only $190, so I am all in. I will be happy to attend this event, as the Buffs are guaranteed to win the game.

Remember for the past ton of years when they legit weren’t actually guaranteed a win?
