Stanford is legit.

Yellow Sub didn't get shut down for selling 'shrooms until '93, so Sacky had options. Have the agree with Timmy on this one.
Yellow Sub was there. I did get their stuff from time to time. I did have options other than Subway, but back then, I liked Subway. My tastes have changed as I dont think I've gone into a Subway in years.

Which is kind of the point. Students like Subway. Even Stanford students.

You should try them again. Subway has IPA now.

There is no Taco Bell on the Stanford campus.

The Taco Bell between Creekside Apts and CU was my go-to back in the day.

Also - not 50. And **** Stanford. Hope McCaffrey doesn't sniff another win.
I lived in Creekside Apts for 2 years. The building was old and ugly, but we had one of the best views of the Flatirons in town.

That was my point. Sacky predates Tim's list, but still had options other Subway.

FALSE! Yellow Sub wasn't really an option because half the time you would order from them, they wouldn't deliver (food, I'm referring to food here.)

You are trying to refute the idea that students like Subway by giving me yelp reviews?

Go find their income statement and get back to me.

Let's not confuse the macro from the micro.

At a macro level, your action item for me makes no sense whatsoever. No income statement segments financial and marketing data into university students and other categories of customers. Even if it did, the analysis would be meaningless.

On a micro level, the aggregate Yelp reviews provide a viable representation of Stanford student sentiment towards their pathetic dining options.

Moving to the comments, my take on Stanford cuisine is consistent with Divya K & Jonathan W.

In summary, Stanford sucks.

Oh, blah, blah, blah... does that franchise make money or not? Simple question. If it's not making money, then I'll agree that the other options are more attractive and therefore your assertion that students don't like Subway is correct. Don't try to complicate the issue. Yelp reviews are worthless. If there are 30 negative reviews, I can easily make the assertion that every other customer contact at that store was positive. So, 30 out of a thousand or so? Sounds pretty good to me.

Stanford sucks, but not due to its fast food offerings in the student union. It's mostly due to the lack of females and the uptight nature of everybody associated with the place.

Let me make this simple for everyone.
