I lived there one summer on the first floor right beside the vball court. We ruled that sand for a glorious 3 months.I lived in Creekside Apts for 2 years. The building was old and ugly, but we had one of the best views of the Flatirons in town.

Always trying to avoid, sidestep, obfuscate. Sad, really.
I shouldn't try to get between you and sacky, but I never follow my own advice. Firstly, I've never cared much for Panda Express myself, but my Chinese wife and daughter often choose it over seemingly better options at the mall, so it can't be that bad. I think I'd trust Divya's opinion of different ethnic food, but Chinese opinions here. Secondly, the Subway item you quote proves only that a lot of students buy "sandwhiches" there; a) how does that help your point and b) can you really trust a guy who supposedly goes to Stanford but can't spell sandwich?Let's not confuse the macro from the micro.
At a macro level, your action item for me makes no sense whatsoever. No income statement segments financial and marketing data into university students and other categories of customers. Even if it did, the analysis would be meaningless.
On a micro level, the aggregate Yelp reviews provide a viable representation of Stanford student sentiment towards their pathetic dining options.
Moving to the comments, my take on Stanford cuisine is consistent with Divya K & Jonathan W.

In summary, Stanford sucks.
See, you think I'm defending those places when all I've been saying is that students don't care.
wtf is the matter with you people? you are arguing in a football thread in a football forum about whether or not a ****ing subway on the campus of a conference foe is good or bad. you are like poster children for euthanasia when you hit the cranky age.
I had a roommate at one point who would often run out to get food and offer to pick up the rest of the house stuff. Unfortunately, he really like Arby's. The only two places he ever went were Arby's and Wok N Roll.Alrighty.
Seems that food is kind of a big deal considering all the nashing of teeth about the sanctity of such iconic Boulder eateries like Cosmo's Pizza, Tra Lings, Half-Fast, The Sink, The Dark Horse, Pasta Jay's and Snarfburger.
Boulder runs circles around Palo Alto when it comes to food options. While Boulder has Subway and Panda Express options, these are hardly the go-to places where college memories are made.
But by all means, keep gargling on about how Stanford is so wonderful that even ****ty food and $3,800 per square foot real estate can be overlooked.
The Chicken Bowl. And wtf is wrong with foster farms? They don't include the giblets in their chickens anymore. If be some chance they do, sometimes there are 3 hearts and two necks.Pac is going to paste some teams in bowls with the likes of Furd and USC likely headed to Foster Farns (PLEASE change this name) and Sun if things hold

Yes, because everybody knows the price of real estate is directly correlated to the quality of the football program. It's why NYU and Columbia have won, like, a million football national titles.Alrighty.

Columbia won it all in 1875...it was a good year for real estate too.Yes, because everybody knows the price of real estate is directly correlated to the quality of the football program. It's why NYU and Columbia have won, like, a million football national titles.
It's being developed. http://www.bizjournals.com/sanfranc...ich-candlestick-redevelopment-mac-len.html#g3Is Candlestick still there?
I'd have thought that it would have been torn down by now and that whole area repurposed. It's kind of dumpy, but it's right on the water. It could be a really nice place if done right.
Thanks. Looks nice. They'll have to get rid of some salvage yards and such first, won't they? I seem to remember a big salvage yard just north of the stadium. Maybe that's been gone for a while. I last visited Candlestick to watch the Giants and Rockies sometime in 1993.
What about a Dillard's?sounds like a good spot for a transient camp (and a Subway?)
I dunno. That area of the city is really hard to get to via public transportation, so I never really go over there. Years ago I'd get free niners tickets from a big brother big sisters thing I was doing, but we'd ride bikes to the stadium.Thanks. Looks nice. I'd very much support either USC or Stanford playing Baylor in the Alamo Bowl.
People?i'm keeping a soylent green volunteer list. you know who you are.
They had some Mongolian beef at this Aztec place up the road from SW. I didn't even know it was in town. Called my mom about it and she told me it was hotter than all get out. I'm like whatever, anyway I'm gonna try it, you wanna go? She said sure but I was gonna regret it. The waiter was like you ever had before? I said no but I'm sure ill be fine. I forgot what it was called but yes, that was a ****ing mistake. I started sweating after one bite of that ****. It's wasn't Mongolian Beef though, it looked similar. It killed me for a few days. Needless to say I haven't been back there.i rocked Tra Lings and Mongolian BBQ. And first wok was rhe great buffet.
