The 2021-2022 Coaching Carousel

Guessing Venables will finally leave Clemson to coach at Oklahoma again even though their fans ran him out of town the first time

Oklahoma is rat ****ed. By moving to USC Riley is telling the whole world that OU is not willing to commit to build an SEC championship program. OU is going to take such a massive step down in coaching quality. This coaching change happening simultaneously with a move to the SEC is going to set OU back years, maybe decades. OU could become the new Arkansas.

@Big Jim had another point - it's going to take a lot of selling to the alumni.
Maybe. They already have a ton of existing rivalry games and their exposure would be plentfiul being in the #2 media market. Their alumni are already front runners, so I’m not so sure that they wouldn’t be willing to jump ship.

To be clear, my question and tweet posted wasn’t about him being scared, but rather smarter. Going up against Saban and Kirby in recruiting and on the field is going to end a coaches tenure pretty quick

Lot of tweets out there flat out saying that Lincoln's scared.
