The Lincoln Gameday Experience

An old Fusker standing next to me at the ridiculous cattle crossing bridge that we had to stand and wait at for what seemed like forever strick up this conversation:

"That was a good game. I was very disappointed that the crowd booed the entrances of Colorado".

Me:. I couldn't hear it as the CU crowd was so loud where I was cheering"

I’d prefer to have a nice RV Park as opposed to a large parking lot. That’s all. I think it would be cool.

JFC, just go to WalMart like the rest of the RVers.

Is there a WalMart in Boulder? I ****ing hope not.

The city let a limited sized one in and it failed. Louisville had a Sam's Club, but that failed, too. Have to drive to Longmont or Broomfield if you want the Wal-Mart.

I had a great time for the most part. The Rail Yard was sweet except for not opening half the porta potty's until 30 mins before game time. Lines were huge. I got a ticket from my cousin who is born and raised Husker fan. The old lady that has tickets next to him changed seats with her husband because she did not want to sit next to a CU fan. I was the only CU fan for 30 feet in every direction. When JMac got laid out and a penalty was called I got the look of death from several but no one mouth off surprisingly. I know its been said many times over the years but I can now confirm there are some BIG women in Lincoln.

Lafayette. 285 & Arapahoe, 1/2 mile from my old house. Fairly nice for a Walmart, TBH.

I have nothing to add to the lengthy dialogue on RVs.
But back to the original post about the experience in Lincoln....
I couldn't go this year, been there a few times in the past. Generally treated fine. I also keep to myself, my group and cheering my team.
Even in Boulder I don't pay much attention to the opposing team fans even the ones around me. I let them enjoy the game to themselves.
But the ones who like to stand and turn around and seek attention, they are to certainly be ignored. I'm there for a game, not some attention seeking loudmouth in front of me.

I really agree with comment earlier about how SOME nebra fans who have to ASK if CU fans are finding the nebra fans courteous and such. Geez, if you have to ASK if you are great.....that's ridiculous, perhaps narcissistic.
