Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread (Awards: HE12MAN, Walter Camp, Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Lott, Paul Hornung, AP PotY)

I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to watch Travis Hunter play football at Folsom and in a CU uniform.

I never thought CU would have a Heisman winner again, and here we sit with this remarkably unique football player, great student, and just warm and joyful individual right on the cusp. So many memories in only 2 short years.

If the Heisman isn't unanimous in favor of Hunter it's a ****ing joke. All 800 whatever votes should go to him

That being said the ballots being due after conference championship games does concern me a bit. Hopefully CU makes it and TH puts on another show

The fact that he wasn't a finalist for the Thorpe concerns me and what might be going through individual voters brains

I'm 100% for TH and know he is the best player in college football.

But, he needs a better advisor. The repeat Heisman poses strike some as arrogant and cause hard feelings. I don't mind them, just don't think they are a good idea. (the day or two before the 16 election, hillary told the networks all about her celebration party in a glass ceiling ballroom - I figured that was many votes out the window)

Sorry for the thread jack but does Blackhawk have 5 dollar tables at all? I’m the sober driver it’s looking like …

The next time he does it will be at the Heisman Ceremony
For sure.
My point was that there are haters out there. TH is a charming, incredibly gifted, wealthy teenager. He is black. He is CP's protoge. Certain people hate on that. Those same people will find the Heisman pose arrogant. I think that's part of the Thorpe award snub.
Old school people see it the same way they see "taunting" and post TD celebrations.

Those people will hate him regardless because of his association with CP.

Whenever I hear a quote where Hunter refers to Sanders as "dad", I always wonder how his real father feels about that.

Not sure if there's bad feelings between Hunter Jr and SR. First page of Google results not returning much

Anyone know the story?

Did his dad walk at senior day?
