Unprompted and very complimentary. Here's how he ended the statement:

"You can not take this team lightly," Deion Sanders emphasized. "I don't give a dern what their record is. As long as (Whittingham's) over there on that sideline, you better be prepared for a tough game.

"Thank God it's at home, and it's early. I like it like that."

That's what kills me about the perception of Prime vs the reality of Prime. People are so quick to think that he's arrogant and selfish and all about the flash when in fact he's humble and respectful and everything you want as a leader of young men.

Cash has quickly shot up the ranks of my favorite players on the team. Overlooked guy who did everything right and got rewarded for it. A true freshman center being so in tune with protection tendencies of the defense and his QB is impressive. There is a lot of noise and flash around the Buffs but it seems that is a bonus not the focus like early last season.

Is he still without a scholarship? If so that needs to be fixed. Pronto.

With his name and personality, he should be able to cash in on NIL deals. See what I did there? 🤣

Not something you do in season. That said, he'll be taken care of this offseason.

Zilinkas to Rutgers in 3..2..1..

I keep saying to myself, there is no way this kid should be playing let alone starting right now. He's undersized and doesn't look that strong. But then I watch film and that "country strong" sh!t jumps off the screen, his center of gravity is perfectly placed in his body type, and somebody absolutely coached the hell out of him technique-wise. Go figure.

He is listed at 300llbs. That's bigger than pretty much all our centers over the past--what?--decades.

He'll have opportunities to compete for other line spots won't he? I mean, he was getting better in other ways, just couldn't snap the ball.
Where else? Center is the only position they don't have blue chip talent at already or incoming. It's really the only position he'd be able to compete for. I could see him staying through Spring Ball and then transferring out depending on how things look at that point.

I'm assuming Cleveland will be starting Saturday? Looks like he has a good command of what the opposition is going to do and execute.

Loadholdt has routinely gone back to guys who have struggled in certain weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised if Hank gets inserted back into the starting lineup with another short leash if he ****s up the snap again.

Kids don't think that way these days. Just sayin'.
What ever happened to using a scholarship to, you know, get a college degree? That’s one thing I don’t get. If you’ve been working on a degree at, say, CU, then why would you jump to, for instance, Texas St. just to play football. Only 1 or 2 percent of these kids will play professionally.

But I digress.
