Wake Forest Announcer Leaked Game Prep to Opponents

I think he knows that you know what he means. I wouldn't take that **** if I were you!

oh its already been brought!

My biggest question is why would he do what he did? Was it because he was pissed he had to do radio instead of coach or was it another reason? Could it be a financial one? All I know is it's very strange, never seen it before.

My question is why did it matter? It's not like Louisville was going to lose to Wake Forest without that info. If this had been against Duke it NC State, I might see the logic. But Louisville? That game was never going to be in doubt. Seems like a pretty stupid way to get yourself fired.

Seeing as how WF was up on L'ville 12-10 going into the 4th quarter, I'd say that the game was at least somewhat in doubt up to that point. The Cards then scored 34 points to put the game away, and I seriously doubt that any leaked game plans had any part in that ... but there it is.

Watching Dan Patrick this AM; looks as if this has been going on since 2014, not just the UL game.

This guy isn't pulling any punches.

WINSTON-SALEM — He was right there all along, smiling and laughing and joking with all of us on Tuesdays and at practice and on game days.

The rat was right there in the middle of everything, dressed in black and gold.

Louisville AD Tom Jurich released a statement Tuesday admitting his coaching staff accepted and used knowingly stolen information. Where was Bobby Petrino in all this? And the ACC? This scandal still has more questions than answers.
why the hell is this petrino's problem? His job is to win without breaking rules (last clause is sometimes elastic depending on the school). Is there an NCAA rule against using information given to you?

Playing out a hypothetical: if MacIntyre was offered credible inside information on the UCLA game plan against us, how would we feel?

Happy, disgusted or both if he accepted it?
Happy, disgusted or both if he refused the information and reported it to Mora?

Did we win? Because if we lost, count me as disgusted.

What if he used it to win then reported it to Mora?

Yeah, I know a lot of coaches, if approached with this information, would take it straight to their AD on the expectation that their AD would go to their counterpart at Wake.

Which is probably how this got blown up, but still, a lot of coaches apparently didn't have that level of ethics.

Holy crap. This story could be huge ... and if it doesn't become huge, it's a disgrace to Louisville, the ACC, the NCAA, and CFB in general. Using information that you know was acquired dishonestly is the epitome of cheating.

Really, there's not more you can do to disgrace the Louisville Athletic Department at this time.

They just won the Heisman. Disgraced? Hardly.

Hey ACC ... this isn't going away. What are you going to do about it?

Pure hypothetical here: What if Clemson had used Louisville’s stolen game plan to beat the Cardinals this year, a win that helped land Clemson in the College Football Playoff? That would be an enormous story. Well, this is the same transgression. The ACC can’t minimize this because the victim was “only” Wake Forest.

Louisville spokesperson Rocco Gasparro told the Courier-Journal that Petrino “doesn't have a comment (on) what appears to be a Wake Forest issue.” Rocco, please: a Wake Forest issue? What?

When Petrino hired his mistress at Arkansas over more qualified candidates, then crashed his motorcycle with her on board and lied about it to his bosses, was that a Harley-Davidson issue?

The ACC has a responsibility to protect the integrity of the game—and, by the way, to protect its members. One of many dirty truths about college sports is that many conferences do not treat all members equally. Wake Forest is not Florida State, just as Vanderbilt is not Alabama. Conferences tend to favor their biggest revenue-generators—especially in an era when almost any school is a threat to bolt a conference.

Well, the conference can’t close its eyes and pretend it doesn’t hear Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson screaming. This is too big, too important. This should not be the end of a small, wacky story. It should be the beginning of a much bigger one.

This story is leading to other dirty laundry getting aired in public:
