One thing that makes me question our coaches big time though is trotting out Haigler at guard. He is still undersized for tackle, and he's nowhere near strong enough to be playing inside. Kaiser is playing tackle on the same side that Haigler is playing guard?! What?! How does that decision get made?

I do like how Mac has long term success in mind when it comes to his teams. We have a lot of talent Redshirting right now that is likely going to be better than the guys out here now, especially on the O Line. We will not recruit better than some other programs, but I feel that a 3* recruit that was well identified, and then well trained can technically improve into a 4* and even a 5* player. Wouldn't Chido, and Akhello, and Tedric be considered 4* or 5* once they finished last year??? Getting drafted in the NFL pretty much makes you at least a 4*
 
Ass kicked where it counts, on the lines. Until we have the size, talent and depth we will be a fringe top 25 team. Gotta recruit better.
 
Get off our field and go the F back to Seattle. Washington is the new Nebraska. We need to strive to get better than them because they do set a similar standard these days and knock these jackholes off.
 
Bummer game. That Folsom magic ran out early. UDub ownes the Buffs again. Congrats, dogs.
 
I'm trying to find a moral victory here somewhere, but I'm not able. Maybe UW is better than they seem to be. Defense seemed to be OK until they got tired/quit trying. Offense never seemed to be in the game.

Oh brother. We killed ourselves with picks and a blocked punt. Things tend to spiral out of control with college kids when that happens. Other than USC, we won't play a team as talented as UW this year.

We still get to 7+ wins pretty easily if the play calling gets better and Montez cuts down on the picks.

Easily get to 7 wins?!!?! Wow. We're watching 2 different teams. But we'll see who's right at the end of the year. I'm going with 4 wins.
 
CU came out like gang busters. After a few stupid plays of adversity, we crumbled like a folding chair and that was it.

Still like this team and I have a man crush on Peterson. He might be the best coach in the nation, IMO. Can't make even one mistake against a Peterson coached team and expect to win.

CU will be fine. Move on, but you could tell Mac was so pissed.

Defense looked very good and played well. They were completely overwhelmed due to the embarrassment of the offense and special teams.

I fear that Lindsay dropped pass/interception was all it took for this team to loose all confidence. I think CU's psyche is is on thin ice.
 
my buddy who is all for UW noticed that no one on the CU offense was helping up Montez when he got jacked around toward the end of the game... asked me what that was about. I didn't have a good answer.

The OL were flat on their backs too, they couldn't help him up....

I'm Catching some heat for this.....truth hurts.

He isn't breaking any tackles, he isn't running hard or fast and he is below average. The funny thing is that I wouldn't have said that last year, but this year it is absolutely true
 
It's almost like the last three times cu has played a p5 school we've gotten absolutely curbstomped in humiliating fashion. But I must be a troll. Lol.

You gotta be kidding me!!! 4 more wins, or 4 total wins??? I actually feel we are still in the top half of the PAC 12. Washington kills us because Peterson is smarter and a better coach than our OC. They made adjustments, we did not. Players make plays, but coaches put players in a position to make plays. We will win 3 games easily (Cal, Arizona, Oregon State) and then I feel good about Washington State and ASU. Then if you can play huge at either Utah or maybe even USC becomes a special day at Folsom, then you finish 8-4 or better.
