Who Should be the new QB Coach?

We need a pole.

I vote Doug Meacham. I would not mind Jedd Fisch.

Dan Enos?

I wonder why promotin Chev is such a terrible idea. However, if we have to go outside, I like the idea of Mike McCoy. I think we can say now that the offensive troubles the Broncos have had this year had nothing to do with play calling. McCoy has a history of working with the talent he has and developing solid game plans around them. Might be a very short term solution, though.

Someone with a Rolodex full of names of high school coaches at Southern California and Texas football factories.

Also I would like someone who would be able to attract top assistant coach talent capable of developing CU Buffs into future NFL players.

And finally, I would like it to be someone who Chev would be willing to stick around Boulder and learn from for a few more years.

While I believe coach Chev can strengthen his Rolodex over time, I’m not sure he has the depth and breadth of experience to incrementally improve CU’s organization over what we’ve seen already.

I think he's already consulting for some other team.

I really think Chev earned it and deserves it. Any weaknesses he will address. But yes, bring in a good, experienced QB coach, who could also work with him on dealing from (the QB's) strength and talents

Fwiw, Chev is actually older than UCF's new head coach. Don't trust your eyes.

If he'd be happy with the title of assistant HC, as Jeric mention elsewhere, we could get somebody more proven. But who knows, he might be a great OC?

Huepel isn't even 40, for crying out loud.

ZERO doubt that it is anyone besides Chev. Why hire Chev as co-OC and wait until he gets some experience and to see Lindgren let it fall apart if they weren't gearing towards Chev being more involved. Chev didn't come here to be someone's right hand guy. He wants control. That's a great sign for a coach IMO.
